Zo + Osman = Zoosman.
Like Cedi who can block shots.

I've watched Zoosman play in the Euroleague the entire season, and in prior seasons.
As much as it would be cool to have him join, I think nobody should get their hopes up for this guy. He has raw talent and good instincts, actually a better defender than he gets credit for. But he is nowhere near being an NBA level athlete and his talents are not that good to make up for that. He would require years of work with NBA coaches to get to an acceptable level, IMO.
I hope he surprises me, I really do. I'm rooting for him. But I'm also realistic and know this guy pretty well.
I don't see him as a high-ceiling guy, but it's promising that he didn't look out of place as a 20-year-old on a team that included several ex-NBA players. Strongly suggests that he'll work his way onto an NBA roster himself sooner or later. Can't say the same for most summer league guys.
He played most of his minutes at the local level in the Israeli league. Which, with all due respect, is very weak competition. Especially from an athletic perspective. Watch the highlights video posted earlier and see some downright embarrassing defensive efforts. The Euroleague is better, obviously, but he got significantly less minutes and was nothing special 99% of the time.
He has some talent and very good instincts. But not enough talent to carry his lack of athleticism, IMO.
In this regard I could compare him to Joe Ingles (who funnily enough also came from Maccabi), who is not an amazing athlete, but his 3 pt shooting, defensive awareness and super super high BBall IQ make up for it. Yovel doesn't have those going for him.
Half Japanese - I am probably more biased since I have watched Rui since high school. Are you Japanese? Because in the U.S. not a lot of people expect Hachimura to become a star.
so you are watching summer league? Why am I not surprised LOL I guess you can catch up on the scouting you didn't have time for and yes unless you are paid to watch you have to be pretty fucking bored if you are interested in this garbageYes, @Ozone. Tell us more about how OTHER people have no life. Maybe we can explore this more once Garland gets traded next week?

Ha...you want everyone to think you have no time for this when you've got your DVR set to record every game...summer league is so lame, if you got time to watch this trash, you have no life.
Seems kinda odd that Deng Adel isn't on the roster. Isn't he the other current two way contract?
They signed Dean Wade to one of the two ways. No announcement who they released since Koby was signing guys to two year two way contracts.
My guess is Blossomgame is still holding his two way contract. I think the team was higher on Blossomgame than Adel. Adel played more later in the season but I think that was because the team used up almost all of Blossomgame's NBA days and didn't want to lose him. My guess is he will compete for whatever roster spots are available on the preseason.
