Isn't Knapp a big time prospect?

I know trading him for a current Cy Young caliber pitcher is unrealistic but still.

He's having shoulder surgery, won't pitch until next year.

Not the big surgery, but surgery nonetheless.

Cool thing is, when he comes back...he'll still be young for his league. Just hope they fix the shoulder issue permanently.

The Phillies got nothing from Seattle for Lee.

The Mariners got Justin Smoak for him, but he's only shown flashes. Hasn't show consistency.

The key isn't to get a rental.

However, they should take a serious look into trading for a guy who can fit in now and in the future. Preferably, one who can play 1B.

Carrasco has looked pretty damn good, and has FOR potential. Also, Knapp is still only 20 years old. It's wayyyyyyy too early to write him off. Judging the Lee trade right now is just silly...let's take a look back in 2-3 years.

Juan Rivera has been DFA by the Toronto Blue Jays. He's right-handed bat, has some pop in his swing, and hits lefties well. I'd expect the Indians to have some interest.
