Conspiracy Theories / Wild Predictions

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What is this, the fucking nutrition thread?

Nate go eat a strawberry. I want to read stories about people with hard facts of blood drives being pyramid schemes run by dracula

Maybe I just have a different definition of conspiracy that do you guys.... All these companies acting in their own individual interests leads to the exact same result.

And about the corn syrup, MSG...people know that shit isn't good for them. Moms have been telling kids not to eat too much sugar for many decades. We just keep eating it because it tastes good to many of us, and companies keep making it because we keep eating it.

I don't believe it is their job to teach us good dietary habits, or to only make food that is good for us. We just need to stop eating it. There are people fat as fuck out there right now gorging themselves on all sorts of shit that if you asked them, they'd admit is not healthy for them. But they do it anyway despite that knowledge.

How does anyone propose to fix that?

I think the issue is largely that food that is terrible for you is cheap and abundant, whereas eating healthy tends to be quite a bit more expensive. It's easy to say that it's as easy as just eating better, but some people can't afford to do so, and truly healthy options may largely be out of their price range.

Further, a lot of foods that are marketed as healthy alternatives are actually not healthy and can even contribute to weight gain, so even when some people attempt to lead a healthier lifestyle they are in reality not doing so.

Yeah saying "we know what is healthy" isn't true at all. It is sounding more and more like cholesterol is a side effect of eating too much sugar and is trying to protect arteries from inflammation from glucose spikes. Everyone said, "don't eat cholesterol", but in fact your body makes it by itself and is a response to eating too many carbs.

Food pyramid is wrong. Excercise is not really a good way to lose weight. You do it mostly through diet.

Antibiotics are disastrous for your GI tract. Showering is really unhealthy.

The list goes on and on. Is it a conspiracy to continually make disinformation the status quo for perpetuity? I think so.

"That Sugar Film" is on Amazon or Netflix...can't remember which one. Watched it a couple weeks ago with the fam. A real eye opener.

Ugh.

This is sooooo fucking BORING.

I came here to hear about people getting bullets in dee brain and shit. And we're talking about sugar.

Someone spice this shit up.

In regards to JFK. I know a guy who is under 30 and worth 90M dollars. He did not make that money himself, his grandfather did. He was a texas oil man who was a confirmed close friend of LBJ. He, on his deathbed, admitted that he had colluded with other oil guys and the CIA to kill JFK.

Dunno if it is true, but he did confess that and he was in a position to do that in the 60's.

A lot of "death bed admissions" out there for conspiracies.

Another popular one is that Billy the Kid staged his own death along with his old friend Pat Garrett, and like 3 old geezers claimed to be him on their death bed.
