Damn, Jimmy G this is some serious good quarterbacking.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's like, come on, man. We've all seen Beathard play. Dude sucks. No chance Jimmy G isn't out there in a couple of weeks.
Yeah.......why trade a 2nd for a guy who is unproven and who you may need to throw big $$ at to retain. Need answers.

How epic would it be if they traded for this guy and he left.

Sure, the competition sucks, but 2-0 since becoming the starter.

Two back-to-back nearly 300 yard games. A QBR in the low 90s. Playing on a team that really lacks talent. Yet, like that, has delivered them 2 wins, because he's good.

Really, really, hurts we missed on Jimmy G.

I don't know exactly what could have, or couldn't have when it came to obtaining him.

But if there was a legit chance, then we blew it.

It'd be nice going into the next year's draft with the number 1 pick, and a franchise QB already.

Instead, we're going to be using that pick likely on a QB.

Any chance you have to get a franchise QB, just can't pass on them.

We pass on them way too much. Wentz, Watson, and now Jimmy G.

2-0 on a team I was told had less talent than the Browns.

Wooooooooooooof.

The Browns nearly won today. All it took was just average QB play.

Jimmy G clearly demonstrates how important the QB position is and how even decent play can elevate the entire team.

It also demonstrates that the Browns have been idiots for 15 years for thinking that somehow the QB position can be addressed with half-measures.

Amazing, isn't it?

I told ya guys it wasn't the NE system, I'm certainly no QB guru, either. Pretty obvious he just had it.

His ability to move in the pocket, maintain great eye discipline down the field. I saw with my own eyes, against the Cardinals, doing Aaron Rodger type stuff.

Look at this shit he did against the Seahawks.

Fuck these clowns for not getting him. I don't want to hear they tried. No they didn't.

They fucked up, like they always do.

Dammit Dorsey! Get off your hands! :chuckle:

Can't wait til it backfires and Jimmy G. signs with another team next season or they have to franchise him. The 49ers have a lot of cap space, but they also have 18 UDFAs next year. Pay the QB or retain the team? I'll admit I don't watch them a lot so I don't know the quality of a lot of those players, but Eric Reid, Hyde, and Jimmy G are the ones who stick out at first glance.

Eric Reid is as god as gone there. They've been playing him out of position trying to diminish his value. They aren't doing him any favors. He's a really good player.

Didn't Schefter reiterate earlier this week that the Patriots deliberately chose not to involve Cleveland in trade talks?

Hard to be furious if that's true, and I tend to believe Scheffer.

Even if that is true, Browns were in talks with them previously about Jimmy G.

It's another royal fuck up from this organization.

Even if that’s true?

I know you hate Sashi Brown’s guts, but cmon now. You’re being ridiculous.

The Patriots did not take the best deal they could have gotten. Schefter and several others have confirmed this as fact.

Call it whatever you want, the Patriots simply weren’t going to “do wrong” by Jimmy by sending him to an unstable place.

Then why were the two teams seemingly having legitimate talks leading up to the 2017 draft?
