Danny Green: Long Time, No See

It does make me wonder if Green was working as hard as he could have been. He still doesn't seem comfortable with the NBA 3 point line, and his ball handling didn't improve from day one. Does anyone know if he was considered a hard worker in the gym?

I'm pretty sure the only teams who didn't make an addition at the trade deadline were the Bulls and Cavs.

The Cavs stand out for being a great team with a clear rotation... and a clear hole where Danny Green's proven skill set slips right in seamlessly. If the Cavs did make a minor role for a bench shooter, Green might have gone elsewhere. When the Cavs drafted Ochai, we hoped he could become the Danny Green this team lacks.

Solid move to bring in a vet and a winner, somebody who can replace Rajon Rondo's important role to tell Kevin Love to shut up until he gets more than one ring.

Rumor is Celtics and Cavs showed the most interest. He has an easier path to playing time here even if he doesn't start.

There's no playoff team he would start on. He's lucky to get minutes and he knows it.

He won the Sixers a playoff game last year.



I get that he’s coming off injury, but he looks like the same guy to me. We don’t need 25 minutes from him. 12-15 minutes while hitting open corner threes and playing smart team defense is plenty. He’ll help the locker room prepare for the playoffs.

He only started 1/3 of his games with the Sixers last year....

I think we promised him a role - and unlike other teams that were offering him a position, we have a clear need for a shooting 2/3.

Green blew out his ACL in the playoffs last year, and he was rehabbing this season.
