He was traded like two weeks after Sloan quit as well.

I believe the owner has even spoken out publicly about this since it happened.

I think its water under the bridge now, but I recall being surprised at the time at the accusations of Deron being a diva.

Yes.....Sloan hated 2 things about Deron. He was the Joe Haden of off-season workouts. Guy always showed up to camp out of shape, and not ready to work.

Deron also had a miserable attitude....everywhere he's been people have complained you can't tell if his team has just won or lost, that's he's just ready to get to social hour.

Again, Dwight and Deron were the outcasts on the 2008 Olympic team because they treated the entire experience like a frat party and they expected more free time to enjoy extracurricular activities. The Jazz actually reached out to the Olymlics coaching staff concerned Deron was going to injure himself by being so out of shape.....they asked the staff to limit his minutes and try and keep him healthy as possible. They didn't trust his conditioning....

All that said......I hope he's matured and I'd love to see him in CLE
 
I really hope the Cavs sign Sanders instead of Bogut. Bogut has not look good this year. Sanders is perfect for this Cavs team.

I rather take a risk on Sanders than Bogut. Sanders is athletic, can run, play defense, and can block shots. Lue said he looked good at the workout the other day.

Yeah...don't get it.

Motivated Bogut for the rest of the season > returning Sanders...not even close too.

Only way I take Sanders is if he takes a 2 year deal for the minimum when he signs.

I have yet to see someone give a good reason why he would go to Houston besides "they can give him money".

Bogut said no to Houston in the summer. Said D'Antoni's system isn't exactly a good fit for him. They have 4 quality bigs, including 2 Cs who can get up and down the floor very well, which works in their system.

I follow the Rockets closely, having lived in Houston before for 8 years...they are planning on tossing a good bit of their money to a perimeter player to help replace Brewer's minutes. Not seeing the Houston threat others are seeing.

I can see them trying real hard to get Matt Barnes...

Guy has spent the last 2 years rapping, producing music for other people, working on art, getting arrested, and smoking weed...and he's just going to come out guns blazing this season after that?

Much better chance for him to make an impact by getting his shit back together in the last 20+ games, then getting ready for next season...why, if we sign him, it better be a 2 year deal.

I'm not saying anything about your cousin.. in other situations, girls are clearly hired for their looks, it's taking advantage of the fact that guys like hot girls.. I think it's kind of funny for people to accept that and be cool with the advantages and being shocked purple that guys would possibly hit on them because they're hot.

There's a young female musician in my scene that just posted a really aggressive "fuck guys in the industry" rant.. claiming it should be about the music and not her looks and is gross.. dear child, a big part of the reason you have fans and get this much attention is because of how you look and not the music. You have to take the bad with the good. That's zen, yin and yang.

I am for getting both of them, but I can't really make a realistic argument that Sanders right now helps us more than Bogut.

Bogut is still a top-3 defensive center in the NBA. I just don't see any rational argument against adding him to this team.

Given our defense has been a major issue, the Cavs couldn't have gotten a bigger break in helping to clean up that part of the floor.

There's no way you say no to adding Bogut. No way.
