I agree 100%.
Like you said, Part of the reason he's had such a long recovery time is totally separate from the Labrum tear.
He had a few minor issues that happened when he hurt it with the impact play such as bone bruises, muscle strains, etc. All of which are relatively minor problems, but since they all happened at the same time....it was difficult to put a timeline on the Labrum until the bruises/muscles healed.
IT is basically as fully healed as he's going to get at this point. But what's taking time is he's got to build back up strength, balance, body control, etc. He's got to make some very small, incremental, but important improvements so that when he comes back, he's going to be ready to play and he's not going to have to be on and off the shelf every few weeks for soreness /hurt muscles/overextertion.
Also will say, IT believes Cavs doctors have been a godsend for him. Believes Celtics docs weren't always acting in his best interests given his impending contract situation.
