Kyrie Irving Trade Ideas

It's hard to not laugh when I see someone call kyrie a future mvp or a mvp caliber player. He will never be a mvp caliber player. The whole non sense started from lebron saying that... And lebron is an atrocious talent evaluator.

While I think he has some talent, I feel he is greatly overrated and so is his potential.
He has work to do, but he has a huge offensive toolbelt that will help.

just has to corral tunnel vision and put in a LOT of work on the defensive end. Its hard to put a ceiling on it.. I said it last year, but for someone that can move so quick its curious that he gets beat so bad on the other end of the ball. we'll see what happens

Kyrie Irving for Jeff Teague and Al Horford. GO!

Sounds terrible, so I have to think you're joking and mimicking the shitty trades that have been mentioned.

I'd trade him tomorrow for Crowder and Thomas.

He's a poor man's Iverson--he's peaked.
I thought he was a rich man's Boobie Gibson. Or is that Tashaun Gipson? I forget.

Man. Never thought it would come to this but perhaps it is time to start speculating.

Bump.

I could see a CP3 trade happening.

Somehow, someway, I see us with CP3 and Melo next year...

I'm sorry but I just can't believe that Chris Paul is available in any way shape or form. I know the Clippers are likely out in the 2nd round again and might want to shake things up, but he's just too good of a player and leader to let go.

Of course I'd trade Kyrie for him. And if that were possible the Cavs should have and would have done it already.

Another unrealistic scenario similar to this is with Chicago. Good chance they miss the playoffs. Noah and Rose past their prime. Similar to Chris Paul, Jimmy Butler is the only thing giving hope to that franchise right now. I would offer Kyrie/Love/Shump for Rose/Butler.

I would think about Kyrie in a deal for Kemba Walker or Gordon Hayward. Have no idea if these teams would be interested. Tbh you have to find a team that's willing to take a chance on him. Otherwise you have to take the chance yourself. He is an all-star talent and if you trade him you better get some talent back.

Cp3 and LeBron are close. He could just demand to get out. Once that happens, it's tough to get a better player for him than KI.

Kevin Durant leaves OKC in the summer. Westbrook, with 1 year on his deal, then gets put on the block because OKC rightly fears they can't keep him. Cavs offer up IRving straight up for Westbrook. Bam. I'm great.

Westbrook might actually pass the ball to Love.

That Cavs squad would be dire.

Of course then you always fear Westbrook bolting to wherever Durant goes the following summer....
