LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lebron shooting 68% from the FT line for the season. Worst year of his career at the line.

When Lebron has shorter defender he wants to pass. When Lebron has a slower defender he wants to shoot a jumpshot. I just don't get him at times.

What continues to amaze is the LeBron charging call.... Now granted you can see it coming a mile away--- yet there's always a couple of them where it seems predetermined (as we know it's coming so, do the refs) and they just call a charge-- defender can be moving, turning sideways, smacking LeBron with a ham sandwich-- it's a predetermined charge...

It's how you beat a tilt though...

Houston was just very prepared in their tilting strategy that they were able to get deflections on those passes, and those tilts really only occurred with Tristan on the floor since they don't guard him and have the size to limit his rebounding on the offensive glass.

LeBron was careless with the ball for the first three quarter but he still played well. But he was completely jaded and gassed in the 4th quarter which resulted in him taking those lame ass jumpers which he does when he is tired. Piss poor execution and decision making by him in the 4th.

With this loss, he should just say Bye-Bye to his MVP chances. And this loss hopefully means we don't play him in a back to back again and if possible, just flatout rest him for the last 3-5 games.

The biggest priority for the team this season has been health and LeBron not playing heavy mins. Ty and the coaching staff have done a horrible job of restricting LeBron's mins. That is totally unacceptable as far as I am concerned.

reporter " without Love you've been struggling with defensive rebounding. is that a size issue?"
Lebron " Next Question"

Lebron was fine. This game was lost because we were killed on the boards. 2 turnovers were the usual bullshit charges. Two others were given to him because both Kyrie and Thompson couldn't handle great passes and the Houston score keepers gave the turnovers to Lebron, ostensibly to make Harden look better. Lebron looks bad = Harden looks better.

Side note, though. James Harden should never sniff an MVP. There are two sides to the court and he is embarrassingly bad on the defensive side. He is a great offensive player, no doubt about that but if he gets the MVP, then the voters will have admitted that defense means nothing to them.

I've always said one of LeBrons biggest weaknesses throughout his career is exploiting mismatches. I actually hate when a big guy switches onto him because he shoots a jumper 90% of the time. I don't get why he doesn't just blow by them like Harden did to TT every single time last night.

Because big guys are allowed to beat the hell out of him.

As much as I hate to say this James Harden is just a better driver than Lebron at this point in their careers. Also Harden has more energy from resting on defense, Lebron's legs get sapped from all the help defense and rebounding he's forced to provide.

Also, every big guy plays stupidly far back on Lebron inviting a jumper. TT thought it would be a great idea to press up on Harden even though he was shooting like 20% on contested step back 3s
