As much as I hate to say this James Harden is just a better driver than Lebron at this point in their careers. Also Harden has more energy from resting on defense, Lebron's legs get sapped from all the help defense and rebounding he's forced to provide.

Also, every big guy plays stupidly far back on Lebron inviting a jumper. TT thought it would be a great idea to press up on Harden even though he was shooting like 20% on contested step back 3s

LeBron also looked gassed which isn't surprising given that it was a back to back and third game in four nights. Also half of Harden's effectivenes driving is that he goes to the free throw line on every other drive. In the playoffs though he has been exposed the past few years when the whistles start drying up.

I def think Harden outplayed LeBron last night though.

See, Heej. I can't entirely agree with it.

I think a lot of it is down to LeBron just conserving his legs and body which is why he prefers to take the jumper. A lot of times when he takes jumpers in 4th quarters, thats a good sign of him being tired.

Secondly, LeBron getting hacked and not getting FTs at all has somewhat kinda stopped him from attack the paint regularly. Which is understandable. Harden gets touched and he gets the FTs. It needs to be a solid or hard foul for LeBron to get FTs consistently. Its one of the reasons why Harden's performances drop in the playoffs, because he doesn't get half of those bullshit FT calls he gets in the regular season. That ends up with him actually having to score amidst the contact.

Last but not the least, LeBron's own FT shooting efficiency. I am sure him shooting like Shaq has kinda made him hesitant to attack the paint and drive as much as he used to in half court.

I think by the time we are playoffs, we would see LeBron driving a lot more and not getting baited into taking those jumpers. He still has to take some and make them just to keep the opposition defense honest but he would attack a lot more in the playoffs, especially in Conference Finals and NBA Finals when we need him to be his best version!

He really put in work on the floor game early rebounded well and played with pace. As a consequence the shooters were open and in rhythm. I love watching playoff mode lebron

KD and Kawhi win that. All four are good to great defenders, but LeBron and Giannis are better passers, while Kawhi and Durant are better shooters. Problem is that passing doesn't mater too much in two on two. So I'd take the better shooting of KD and Kawhi.
