LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kawhi and LBJ would be using the cavs for a year before both going to LA. And your right we would be left with nothing
I really do not think Gilbert is going to do it. I think he has a big ass ego and is not going to be held hostage and be made to look like a fool next year.

I would use love to get hometown guy McCollum back who is under control for a few years. Team him with other hometown guy nance. Keep the #8 pick and start the rebuild

We he can either start it this year with some young talent or next year with zero.

Either way, we are not getting over GS next year, even with leonard IMO

Yeah if LBJ wants to play with Kawhi (which I've only heard he prefers PG), let them do it on their own accord in LA. If he really wanted him here he would recruit him to sign an extension.

I'd prefer Beal over McCollum, but both are better to have than Love IMO. Seeing Dwight get dealt for a bag of lays, let's me know Kemba can be had without giving up this years pick. Kemba is 28 and doesn't fit the timeline of rebuilding teams. Rebuilding teams aren't going to want to give him the max either. Then if you survey all the contenders, they already have star point guards in place.

I think Zizic/Cedi + Hill & JR expirings + taking on Batum gets it done!

LeBron was spotted in Houston looking at schools & houses...I think he’s gone, folks. He wants to play with his buddy CP3 and that team darn near beat the Dubs without him.
The Cavs would be wise to assume the worst when it comes to LeBron and not make moves, in an effort to appease him. It may not matter.

Who spotted him? Where's the evidence?

If the Cavs can get Leonard and he is healthy they should go for it. Leonard along with some nice pieces have more than a shot against the West. If Cavs win Leonard stays for another year at least. After that LeBron will probably stay in Cleveland to end his career.

I'm still skeptical of Houston....I just don't see how they retain Capela which is critical to them maintaining a great team. And Capela doesn't grow on trees. There's nobody even close to his level of defense that can be signed for what the Rockets would have in spending ability.

And I don't see Capela giving the type of discount they'd need....the guy made $2M last year. He's ready for generational money to come his way.

Houston without Capela is a big blow, IMO.

He also checked out schools in LA, Cleveland and Philly... So...

The fact LeBron goes to a city to check out a school is so damn hilarious....

Houston is a pretty thin team from a pure basketball perspective and IMO just in terms of winning championships would be a big mistake for Lebron to go there. Ariza is old, Chris Paul has a high probability of injury, they might have to let Eric Gordon and/or Capela go to get Lebron, and Harden underperforms in the playoffs.

From a pure basketball perspective as I and others have said Boston is by far his best option. He would stack up championships there like crazy.

I don’t think it’s hilarious....I think it’s due diligence. He cares strongly about Bronny’s development..SVSM is a known quantity. These other private basketball programs are something he’s going to want to vet.

Once nice aspect to Houston’s roster is PJ Tucker. That’s an underrated selling point. PJ loves to bang and take opposing teams best wing scorers.....and takes pride in it. Also a good three point shooter.

I don’t know how they address the hole Capela leaving would create, but if ty found a way to keep Capela:

CP3
Harden
LBJ
Tucker
Capela

Is freaking filthy. I just don’t think they can do it financially without CP3, LeBron, and Capela all sacrificing a lot which doesn’t seem to be CP3 or LeBron’s MO.

Houston would have to find a way to unload Ryan Anderson’s contract too, and that deal is an anchor.

It’s the lowest of the hanging fruit. LeBron James will play wherever he wants and his kids will be in whatever school he wants them to be in.

The guy will gather his information and has probably multiple people looking into it.

Everyone has said LeBron has been at a school thus far in a free agent destination city...

Zero chance

It’s factual he toured Notre Dame Academy in LA last September....he was open about it and thanked them for the opportunity to do marketing work there. He also took a tour with his wife. But Notre Dame has a average to poor basketball program so I don’t think that school is a slam-dunk. Scottie Pippen and Gary Payton throwing fire on Sierra Canyon which is a powerhouse, is interesting if nothing else.

Allegedly Savannah toured schools in Philly....no true confirmation.

The post by the basketball coach in Hou looks 100% authentic. Posted it and immediately took it down.

If nothing else, it shows he’s doing his homework.

I’ve heard LeBron is very protective of Bronny too....just tournaments his AAU team plays in, and competition he goes against. I’ve been told “they protect Bronny like he’s an up and coming boxer and keep him away from teams that could expose where he’s at.” Bronny is a talent, but without knowledge of who his dad is, he’d be a fringe top 75-100 player in his class. Everyone is anticipating a growth spurt but he’s not abnormally large for the top prospects he’s compared against in his class.

So...we’ll see. I 100% believe the rumors of looking into schools is legit though. It’s what most parents would do IMO, NBA superstar or not.
