If Lue can't keep LeBron's minutes below 37 on the second night of a back to back against the fucking mavericks then he should be put on notice

We're losing all these games anyway so what difference does it make

You literally have 1 job Lue. I don't even care if we lose in the regular season. Just don't run our superstar that just eclipsed Michael Jordan in career minutes into the ground for no fucking reason. Still leading the league in minutes

Got it COACH THIBBS?!

Lebron and co are playing so lazy at times that those minutes probably don't mean much:chuckle:

I like this thought, it's a coping mechanism, LeBron has to play these minutes anyways. He's openly causing a big scene putting management on blast about this roster.....

I have always said our team follows how hard LeBron is playing. If he is fully engaged, rarely do you see the other players dogging it.

The team could not give two fucks less. That is the honest truth. They are following LeBron.

We need to rest LeBron. Give him the old two-weeks off. Our team is at their best when their back is against the wall right? Griffin? Lue?

Cough up the #1 seed and get LeBron his fucking rest.

Get health back on our side, and get the extra players we need. The only goal in this journey is to keep LeBron fresh and springy for the postseason. That is all. So far we are burning the candle at both ends, and it's going to screw us.

Intentionally put our team's back against the wall. We are not going to have home court advantage versus Golden State! That's mathematically impossible after this stretch.

We should feel confident with our chances to win in fucking Toronto.

Here's Santa's list Griffin:

-Gut check this team's ego.
-Put them in an uncomfortable position.
-Get the man his rest.
-Get the man his player(s).
-Walk into the postseason with the pipe ready to plow. Capish?

"Make the Cavaliers great Again."

Yea, I don't get Lue.

He decides to reinsert McCrae into the line-up, so I'm thinking "ok, going to expand the rotation here on a back to back, get some guys some rest."

No. There goes Liggins from the first half rotation. Felder, who saw time in the last few games, totally gone from it.

I think the Cavs are trying to showcase or show the FO why we need a huge upgrade. To be honest if they were trying to use them as trade bait well the shitty play just them numbers instead of an asset. I have no idea what the plan was and I feel Lue and the team wants things to work but Liggins and McCrea either need to be bottom bench or gone. I know JR will help this. I am not worried about a loss with idiot players and missing two key guys. Felder you keep he has potential and I see none is Liggins or McCrea.

I wondered that myself..but even at full strength, the Cavs struggle when Lebron is out..and that shouldn't happen.

He was asked about when hes going to reduce LeBrons minutes by Dave Mcmenamin, Ty Lue response "He had 37 tonight? that's a cut down for you"

He doesn't get it, LeBron looks exhausted he needs 3 weeks in Miami before the playoffs with Kyrie and Kevin, screw the seeding and screw this regular season

I know we need help and everything but when Lebron and all these so called experts on these tv show say spend the money and I'm like we got the highest payroll. Then they say use the trade exceptions I'm thinking on who we don't walk into a store and put things in a basket and go to the check out line. And if we do spend it why so early what if somebody better become available that we could get later by the deadline

I wondered that myself..but even at full strength, the Cavs struggle when Lebron is out..and that shouldn't happen.

For a long time, it was true that the Cavs really only struggled when LeBron was out. That has not been the case in the last 6-8 weeks. The team really seems to struggle most when Kyrie or even Shump go to the bench... but especially Kyrie.

During last year's regular season, a lot of our biggest runs would happen to start second and fourth quarters, because it would be LeBron and Delly surrounded by shooters and/or cutters going against opponents' second unit.

This year, the exact opposite has been happening. We have done pretty well as long as our starting backcourt is in the game. But, the LeBron-led second unit has been hot garbage. It happened again last night. We had a nice lead until that lineup that Lue just can't seem to figure out came in ... and then we were suddenly down 5-8 points. The team never fully recovered.

Part of the problem is obviously missing JR. We get him back and suddenly we have a better offensive player in the starting lineup and Shump takes the McRae/Liggins/Felder spot with the second unit. He would provide the defense and secondary playmaking that is lacking.

But, who knows if JR is even going to be himself when he gets back in late March at the soonest. That doesn't give him much time to get into midseason form.

Thus, we have got to get that secondary playmaker and ballhandler for the LeBron second unit. Stephenson/Chalmers/Hinrich... any of the three that the Cavs are reportedly working out would be a big upgrade.

The Cavs have to be among the thinnest rosters in the entire league right now. LeBron knows it and he is playing with no confidence any time that second line comes in. He doesn't trust them and it is obvious.

He was washed up two years ago. That would be a mistake. You guys are better going with Lance and/or Chalmers.

Hinrich was one of my favorite bench players for years. I'll never forget when he made Rondo his bitch, and Rondo looked like he was going to piss his pants. BUT, I agree with you, his NBA days are over, I think.

I didn't really come here to rant about the team, but rather, us fans. It just seemed like the best place.

I used to remember thinking about angry Patriots fans getting worked up about their team losing a few games in the regular season. Same thing with St. Louis Cardinals fans.

And I always thought, that team is the defending champions and you're panicking over a few lost regular season games and a short stretch of bad ball? What I wouldn't give to have a championship.... I had no idea what they would find to even complain about. Regular season doesn't matter. All would be good in the world of the perennial title contender.

And now, by the grace of God, we are in this boat. And, I see people on here panicking over a stretch of bad basketball in the regular season. Trying to rationalize desperation wholesale changes.

Melo, for example. Don't get me wrong, I'd take him if we clearly win a deal. No team should be content when they have a chance to truly improve.

It's just funny, now that we are on the other side of the fence, we're the fuckers making up shit to complain about.

Hard to make a "sky is falling" argument when you're the defending champs and you have three all-stars this year for the first time in franchise history.

Let's bask, brethren. Kick back, relax, and enjoy a beer while we await the only season that really matters, the postseason.

After all, we haven't even raided the buy-out cupboards yet.

Just chill.

Brutal game. Our role players got rolled, LeCharles Bogut is done and we've lost twice in three days to the Dion Heat.

We need Kevin and JR back soon.
