How do all of you feel about Manny's end of the year performance? I thought that through the last couple of games, he started to put up terrific numbers. Did anyone else see that?

Congrats on losing your RCF virginity.

He had his moments at the end of the year, but more impressive to me is that his real name is Corperryale L'Adorable "Manny" Harris. I think that's adorable, personally.

Thanks man! This shot specifically sold it for me:

I noticed beforehand that he began to play with more emotion and try a lot harder, especially during that "Malice at the Palace" game vs. Detroit.

Are you that guy that is constantly sucking off Manny on Twitter while picking fights with people that say anything even remotely negative about Harris?

As for Manny, he's too young to say anything definitive. However, given what we've seen of him over these last two years, I'm not optimistic about his chances in the league.

I'm not that big of a Manny Harris fan. I'm just saying that near the end of the year, he showed some potential as a role player from off of the bench.

bench player on the Cavs, doesn't even make the 12 man roster on any other playoff team...needs to be able to hit a jumpshot and extend his range more consistently before I consider him a valuable piece

right now I take Dion Waiters, Doron Lamb, John Jenkins, or possibly William Buford to replace him if they are available in the draft

Just curious. There was a guy on Twitter that was the ultimate Manny Harris troll. Had a similar Twitter handle to your RCF name.

Yeah, I don't even have a Twitter account. :p

He's worth keeping around until the SG position is majorly upgraded. His thin frame is always going to hold him back, but if he can continue to get stronger and play good defense while improving his ball handling, he can be a useful piece off the bench. How he comes back next year, if he's back with the Cavs, will say a lot. He would really benefit from summer league and a real training camp.

Re: Manny Harris' End of the Year Performance

Agree completely with above post. He does have potential to be a decent bench piece, though likely as a "reserve" or backup player (ie not a third or even fourth guard). But if he puts in some hard work over the summer, especially on his jumper, he could come back as a useful piece.

Certainly better watching him play than AP...he recovers a lot better on defense and is a more dynamic offensive player.

Otherwise we could cut him and he could end up as a fantastic player on the Spurs.

Performance?

More like perboremance!

Re: Manny Harris' End of the Year Performance

There wasnt enough competitive games to accurately judge Harris. He did show more poise and a commitment to defense than his last run but he still has a way to go

Re: Manny Harris' End of the Year Performance

The nice thing about the position this franchise is in right now is that it allows for the experimentation/development of young, unheard of guys. Are they all going to work out? No. In all actuality, most of them will fail. But, the upside is that some of them will find a niche in the league. If we can faind a guy or two like that, then great. They will provide depth at a cheap price and ususally value every single minute of playing time they get, so you see max effort all the time.

Can Manny be one of these guys? I don't know yet, but I do know he will get a chance to show how hard he is willing to work at it over the offseason. If it translates to the pro level to the pouint of him becoming valuable, jackpot. If not, no big loss. We really have nothing to lose with these kinds of guys. As our franchise rebuild continues to develop there will be less and less of these opportunities(hopefully). In the meantime, I kind of like seeing guys like Manny, Harris, and Sloan get a shot at showing what they got. You don't just build a team from the top down. You build from the inside out, top down, bottom up, and everything in between.
