Manny Harris waived (Post #28)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So have we verified that the OP was in fact Manny's Twitter fan boy?

CORPERRYALE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I refuse to believe this. He will be back at some point I just know it...... :(

And I don't care what the logic is having Harangody on this roster makes no goddamn sense. He's garbage and I hope he dies in a fire.

Shame. Hopefully he will go to a team that gives him minutes.

The Spurs will probably sign him, and then he will end up starting and being a reasonable contributor in the playoffs.

Oh wait, that's the SG that we waived last season.

the same one that SA waived once themselves until he realized that he actually had to put in work to stick in the nba?

Um...no. He was cut after two weeks with the Spurs, and it had nothing to do with work ethic.

You do remember that this last off season was a lockout year, right?

You do realize the Spurs cut him TWICE. It had everything to do with work effort and focus.

Spurs' Green making the most of his third chance with team

"He was aggressive, he was physical and he was determined," coach Gregg Popovich said. "Some of that had been lacking in the past, where he was maybe a little lackadaisical."

Green does not dispute that assessment.

"I needed more focus, more sense of urgency," he said. "That was the biggest thing everybody would say to me."

Anybody else kinda sad we didn't resign? I thought he had potential.

only in Cleveland would we lament waiving Manny Harris

There was no need to resign him. The team had already signed him.

Why was he waived so early in the season?

My guess is because he wanted to latch on to some other team's summer camp after the Cavs drafted Waiters.

Confirmed--

This move allows him to play for another team during the summer leagues.

Harris, 22, showed flashes of being a keeper with his stifling defense and scoring ability. However, he never improved his ball-handling to NBA caliber and was prone to turning the ball over at a high rate.

Harris being cut could be a sign the Cavs are ready to make a move in free agency. There have been rumors they have shown interest in veteran shooting guard Michael Redd.
