Hell yes ! Andre Miller > Mo
The only good thing about Miller is his expireing contract. Trust Me You don't want to go there. :thumbdown
Hell yes ! Andre Miller > Mo
Some of you guys willing to trade Mo for half a pack of cigarettes and a tube of toothpaste are off your meds.
Mo is the second best scorer on this team. Sure, his defense is below average, but I'd argue he had his hands pretty full with Rose and Rondo in the playoffs. I'm okay with trading him, but not for the garbage you guys want to bring back for him. Defense is not the only thing you need out of your starting point.
Mo needs to not get lazy with his passing and needs to toughen up and tighten up that defense considerably, but he can create his own shot, he's shown some ability to get the ball to his teammates (when he's not being lazy about it), he can rebound pretty well for his size and he's almost automatic from the line. These are things that may be attractive to other organizations and which have been great for us, at least during the regular season.
But to be talking about Millers-es and whatnot... I dunno. Not excited about that stuff. You guys are shit-nuts.
Hell no. If LeBron leaves we blow it up, not sit in mediocrity forever which is what would happen if we do what you suggested.IF LeBron bolts then we should just keep Mo. He is more efficient as a ball dominant guard than a spot up shooter. Without LeBron, Mo can have his leeway on offense. We just shore up the SG and Center position through trades and the draft.
I for one would love Andre Miller... 10 years ago. But now he can rot on another bench, unless we're taking him in a deal that substantially upgrades our SG or C positions.
Draft buzz: Blazers targeting Williams
By Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports 42 minutes ago
The Portland Trail Blazers have targeted University of Memphis guard Elliot Williams and are actively working to get an additional first-round pick in the 20s to draft him, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Without another pick in the late first round, Portland will have to decide whether it wants to use the 22nd selection on Williams. The Blazers would prefer to use No. 22 on a different player, but don’t believe Williams will be available when they select again at No. 34.
Sources say the Blazers have been willing to give Memphis the 34th overall pick and as much as $3 million to get one of the Grizzlies’ two picks – either Nos. 25 or 28. Memphis has discussed trading those two picks to Minnesota to move up to the 16th spot.
Blazers owner Paul Allen paid $2 million to exchange the 44th pick for No. 34 with Golden State on Monday.
Williams has been slowed with a knee injury suffered in a predraft session last month in San Antonio, but Portland has worked him out and feels confident in his recovery.
Strangely... we had Andre Miller 10 years ago.
Why does everyone still seem to think we can land CP3?
Toronto gets: Andy, JJ, Wally, West
Last year Batum averaged 10 points on 52% FG, 41% 3s, 84% FTs, and he's a solid defender. Not bad for a 21 year old..Chad Ford has dicks for brains. Batum for #4? I'm not even sure Batum and Aldridge for #4 would be fair. There's no way that is legit.
