i don't think the 6th pick is worth it, in my opinion there is a huge drop off in the talent level after the 5th pick...
I would certainly take Monta if it meant the 6th pick...
Not sure that's realistic, though. Monta as a 6th man would be amazing. He doesn't fit all that well though because it would be almost impossible for Mo and Monta to share the court.
The only way I see this happening is if we make this a three team deal, with the Cavs netting the 6th pick to take on Monta another team acquiring Mo, and Golden State taking on an expiring and Delonte. The possibility of adding a legit young big in the top half of the lottery would make the aquisition of Monta acceptable... but let's not confuse Monta with Rose just yet.

I don't see why GS would do that with Mo, they'd need an expiring. Maybe we could involve Portland and send Pryz to GS and take Bayless for us? Or even send Bayless to GS too, whatever. Here's what needs to happen...
CLE trades Mo Williams, Delonte West, cash
GS trades Monta Ellis, #6 pick
MEM trades Rudy Gay (S&T), #12 pick, #25 pick
GS receives Mo Williams, Delonte West, cash, #12 pick
MEM receives Monta Ellis, #6 pick
CLE receives Rudy Gay, #25 pick
Why GS does it - (1) they finally get rid of the headcase that is Monta Ellis', (2) Mo nicely replaces Ellis in their lineup without all the BS that came with Ellis, (3) they get some salary relief with Delonte's non-guaranteed contract, and (4) they only drop from #6 to #12 so they can still get a young talent.
Why MEM does it - (1) they've wanted Monta for some time now, (2) Rudy's as good as gone anyway so they might as well get some value for him, and (3) they give up the #12 and #25 picks to move UP to #6.
Why CLE does it - (1) Rudy Gay becomes the legit #2 option to play alongside LeBron (assuming he re-signs), (2) they get rid of the headache that Delonte has become, (3) they get a late first round pick that they've been wanting to buy anyway.
Indiana??
Cavs:
Ellis
Kelenna Azubuike
6th pick
Indiana:
Mo Williams
Warriors:
TJ Ford (8.5m exp.)
Delonte West (4.5m exp., only 500k guaranteed)
Indiana popped right in my head when you said this. Supposedly they want to move the 10th pick for a pg. Well this will allow them to keep it.
