*Offical Cleveland Indians Game Discussion*

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
5-Tool Choo continues to impress me. He should be a stud next year. Just needs to cut down on those strikeouts.

Are the Indians going to win at least two more games this year? There are 10 games left after tonight.

:D

Damn! I was going to call that Choo jack - I swear. Right after Rodney almost nailed him in the head.

Yeah, I said it yesterday - Detroit does not look like a playoff team. The Central was ours for the taking this year. Too bad we sucked balls.

Jhonny is 1 for his last 27 and career 1-16 against Rodney. Does that mean he's due?

Edit: Guess not.

Well Gunther, I don't know about you, but I'm highly irritated with the Indians...

Yup. I'd like to see a few instant changes once the season is over:

1. Fire the entire coaching staff

2. Hire a manager that does not believe in platooning unless absolutely necessary. Don't really care who it is, but I want to see an old-school mentality. No more "even-keel".

3. Encouraging message from Dolan regarding the possible promotions of both Antonetti and Shapiro. Again, new blood, but not too new. Besides, I feel Shapiro will make a good President.

Then, I can breathe a little easier until the winter meetings and free agency.

:)

11 losses in a row now for the Tribe. The franchise record is 12 consecutive losses set in 1931! Can Carmona beat Baltimore Friday night? Hmmm, somehow, I felt I would be pondering different questions about the Tribe this time last year. Sad.

Masterson will not make it with that delivery as a starting pitcher... Just won't happen..

He is no Eckersley...

I'm not so sure about that. He has to develop a pitch to help get lefties out, but control has been his biggest issue and that is correctable. He had good control in the minors, so he has shown he can keep his stuff in check. He throws harder than Eck ever did, too. He may need to take a page from Eck's book and take a loss in velocity to enable better control, though. I think he can be a more than competent starter if he can get the pitch counts under control.

Could be? He already is. I think the XBHs could take another uptick next year, too. The Ks are part of the territory with him, however- he is still a windmill against lefties (Ks 31% of the time). His dramatic improvement against southpaws otherwise more than makes up for the Ks.

Keep losing Tribe, lookin at that Top 3 pick next year...

Are you kidding me? Indians won? Carmona actually looked decent?

Will the world end tomorrow?

Ok my dad got some voucher thing for free tickets after donating, and since the game was rescheduled as a double header can we still go to the game? And if yes what time is the game that was rescheduled. Thanks

First game is at 4:05 today. I would call the ticket office to make sure your voucher is valid before you go. I think you would be able to see both games with that voucher. Give them a call and see what they say. Probably, you won't have a problem. They should want as many butts in the seats as they can get at this point. :)

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Tonight's Indians-White Sox game has been postponed because of inclement weather. It has been rescheduled as part of a "traditional'' doubleheader Wednesday beginning at 4:05 p.m.

Gates will open at 3. The second game will begin approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the first.

Fans with tickets dated Wednesday, Sept. 30, get two games for the price of one.

Fans with tickets dated Tuesday, Sept. 29, may exchange them for the September 30 doubleheader or for any April/May game during the 2010 season (excluding Opening Day) subject to availability.

The Indians conclude the season with a four-game series in Boston beginning Thursday.

I'm actually going to watch the games today.

And I haven't watched a full game since our first series with the Yankees.
