Playoff Positioning

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Grizzles putting the finishing touches on the Pacers. Everybody dodging bullets, except us. Of course, we may BE a bullet.

I think Thad Young has the potential to abuse the Hawks if there is no Millsap. Don't know if Mike Scott can handle the heavy minutes. There is going to be an upset in the East for sure. Maybe Washington.

Who gives a rats ass who we play...When the Cavs were locked this season we were unbeatable...and that was without the playoff switch on for Lebron

Rose was pulled from the second half because of tightness in his knee. It'll be interesting to see how they work his minutes. Let Atlanta have the easy route. We did that in 97 and then got swept by San Antonio. By the time we play Atlanta, we will be battle ready. Not sure the Bucks won't create some havoc against Atlanta. Good thing we can ease into the playoffs a bit with Boston.

I was surprised Chicago played their starters to win tonight. Even so, they were pretty awful at home until Atlanta put their D league in. I guess Chicago wanted us, not Atlanta. They'll get us, and we'll make them pay. Atlanta wanted what they perceive is the easier Toronto. With Rose hampered, throwing their chemistry off, and looking so awful at home, Atlanta may have screwed up. We can pay them back, just like we can pay Chicago back. Think of how battle tested and confident we will be for the Finals.

jesus does GS have an easy path.

That's generally how the 1 seed works ;)

sure, normally.. but considering the west and how crazy the trends are of specific teams..

The Thunder could have been a ridiculous 8 seed with durant
The Spurs are a fucking 6 seed and practically unbeatable
The Grizzlies were #2 up until a couple days ago and theyre barely 500 anymore
The Blazers have a banged up team and slotted 4...

so many variables and the warriors ended up with all of them going their way

shit even the hawks, in the east, got the short end by playing the pacers

How so? New Orleans is probably better than Boston, Memphis is a great team when healthy and they would play San Antonio in the WCF. The Western Conference Finals would be an incredible finals on it's own. We probably have an easier path.

Atlanta is no joke. And Schroeder is probably the best second string PG in the Eastern bracket. He was killing Brooks. That is normally when Brooks has an advantage. Rose and Noah both said the minute restrictions are over with when playoffs start. Rose said he would have kept playing if this was a playoff game. Hopefully the doctors put Hinrich on a minute restriction cause once again Tony Snell did good things today when he came in.

A lot of these posts crack me up. I've been reading them for weeks. Facts wrong, more conspiracy theories than an X-Files episode. I love when a team like Atlanta pulls their starters they're doing so to avoid the Cavs. Toronto is tanking to avoid the Cavs. The Bulls want the Cavs because they played their starters. The Cavs wanted Boston so they tanked those games. Blah blah blah...lol

I looked at this last week or two like preseason football. The Detroit game for the Cavs was like the 3rd preseason game. The starters play the most that game. The other games against Boston and Washington had no meaning whatsoever so the coach is going to give his players minutes or rest depending on how he feels it will best prepare them for the playoffs.

Same goes goes for Atlanta, Washington, etc. Some teams had more to play for like the Bulls but in my humble opinion none of these teams that were already in the playoffs were worried about how things were going to shape up opponent-wise. To me it's all about how to best prepare your own team.

Needless to say, I'm glad we're finally here and can finally root for the Cavs to make a deep run to a hopeful championship. Now let's get it done!

Really...I don't know if it could be more obvious...?
