I think Thad Young has the potential to abuse the Hawks if there is no Millsap. Don't know if Mike Scott can handle the heavy minutes. There is going to be an upset in the East for sure. Maybe Washington.

After winning 11 in a row, and giving up the 2nd seed to fall all the way to 6th? That game wasn't meaningless to the Spurs, and the starters all played a full game. Make no mistake, SA came to win that game, not give it to New Orleans, but for one night Anthony Davis was good enough to be the difference maker.

Congrats to NO, I'm looking forward to seeing what Davis looks like in the playoffs, even if it is just going to be a sweep against GS.

Agreed. I guess it is what it is, and sure they wanted to incorporate the city in it somehow. Rise Up was my favorite!

sure, normally.. but considering the west and how crazy the trends are of specific teams..

The Thunder could have been a ridiculous 8 seed with durant
The Spurs are a fucking 6 seed and practically unbeatable
The Grizzlies were #2 up until a couple days ago and theyre barely 500 anymore
The Blazers have a banged up team and slotted 4...

I'd rather play Boston than New Jersey.. but then I'd rather play the Raptors in round 2. Whatever. I like how it worked out.. an alleged easier series to get everyone's feet wet, and then it gets rougher and we are fully indoctrinated and seasoned for the ECF.

You might want to think otherwise, because the Spurs wouldn't purposely lose to fall to the 6th seed.
Thats a angry team and they've been beating teams up, so I don't know where you got that thought process from.
If Pop wanted to let the Pelicans win, he would have sat Duncan and everyone else.

I don't love that the Pacers and Thunder both ended up in the lottery. Those are both good teams that had down years, due to injury. If one of those teams catches a break with the ping-pong balls, they could be elite for years to come...

I read the post. You said Hawks were playing the Pacers as additional support for your argument. I think you're trying to make it more complicated then it actually is.
