Sorry for the new thread, but I don't think you can put polls into existing threads... So, pretty simple.... Will we keep Shane or trade him?

I just can't see Cleveland giving him a long extension. 3 years $50-$55 million maybe? But he will probably bet on himself and hope a strong year gets him 6 years and $150 million next offseason.I've thought for a long time that it's either extend or trade. Leaning trade now, but won't be surprised if it's extension.
Cincinnati had a front row seat to see what kind of "stuff" Bieber had in his last start of the 2023 season... They are well positioned to provide the Guardians with the top of their needs, however, not for the 2024 season. Shane Bieber fills a desperate need for the Reds, one that would command a premium return.Good lord, I can't believe I'm voting yes.
I Know this is how they operate. I Know this is how they reload. And I've seen it work for years.
But I just think he's going to have a very good year.

Someone from their ML roster like:
No one the Reds want to part with that the Guardians have any interest in..
The Reds prospects that are appealing include:
Chase Petty, a 20 yr old RH SP, AA in 2023. He's young, smart, throws three pitches, all for strikes: ETA 2025/13.0
Alfredo Duno, a teenage catcher with strong defensive tendencies & an impact bat: ETA 2027/8.0
Edwin Arroyo, a middle infield talent that splashes superstar tools, across the board; ETA 2025/14.9
So, if it's the Reds.. it would need to be a prospect for veteran type deal, imho.. Using the BTV site guarantees that Shane stays in Cleveland for at least most of the 2024 season. Using the Fangraphs valuation matrix/algorithm, Duno and one of the other guys would be fair.
Thoughts?
I voted No because i think the offers are going to be weak, but if he starts off good, the offers will go way up by the deadline. Basically we need Beiber to perform to get a good offer in my opinion and the front office is very smart about these things.Currently at 36 votes and still very close... I voted YES for 2 reasons.
1. Trading Shane now fits with their "MO"...
2. Not including him on the promo banner... Yeah that's a bit weak, but I think it is telling that he is definitely on the market.
