I hope he does go pro. The TP era has been shit anyway. We never should have benched our all Big 10 QB for him anyway as he still can't pass after 3 years.

I am so sick of hearing about how much these kids do for the University and how it's disgusting how poor these kids are. EVERYONE IS POOR IN COLLEGE, unless you have rich parents. I often worked two jobs while going to school and I didn't get anything free. Had to pay rent, food, etc. I got lucky that my parents could pay tuition and books.

I agree that the punishment is a little stiff as I would expect 2-3 games, but fuck it. The kid has been a dope since he got here. Too bad we can't trade him to watch him dominate on another team after Tressel pretty much turned the team in to the TP show

There's something to be said about being on the side of the minority as well. You have that going for you.

How come the majority of athletes who get in trouble with the NCAA for allegations such as these are African American? There are plenty of white kids that are on these football teams that are not on scholarship that do not get in trouble for shit like this.

To clarify earlier point, Tressel said players would not have been allowed on trip if they said they were going pro early.

What is suprising is not that they are coming back.... but how contradictory those statements are... to say "its only a football decision" on whether or not they play ... and then also say that they wouldn't have been invited to come if they were going pro early... just crazy....
