Raptors Privately Considering Trading Bosh

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm convinced Miami will re-sign Wade and land Bosh. LeBron stays in Cleveland, and ESPN starts talking about Kevin Durant craving a bigger stage.

Can't wait until 2012, when the best teams in the league are Cleveland, Miami, Portland, Memphis, Atlanta, Sacramento and Oklahoma City. Fuck the major markets.

BOS & LAL will find a way to stay in it with their expirings, and don't forget about NJN/NYK.

Look....if I had to put money it.....Bosh is getting traded before the deadline.

I easily see both him and Boozer going (I see a ton of trades happening, honestly).

Miami, Chicago, New Orleands, & Golden State are all teams I can see them going to, with Houston & maybe Cleveland as real long-shots.

Why New Orleans? The trouble with GS is why would Bosh (or Boozer) ever resign there? Well, maybe Boozer would, for the money.

A month or so ago, I suggested Houston as the team that might be able to put together the best package for Bosh. So I wasn't too surprised to see Marc Stein report that Houston was in fact very interested in Bosh:

I still don't see an obvious way for Houston to put together a package for Bosh that doesn't include T-Mac though, and this presents some problems in terms of trying to match up salaries. But if I'm Toronto, I'd be interested in a package including some combination of Landry, Lowry, maybe Ariza, Eurostash Sergio Lllull, and picks, especially if I can also unload Marcus Banks and/or Reggie Evans.

That would clearly beat whatever the Cavs could come up with (Hickson, Eyenga, other Eurostash as necessary, picks, plus salary relief in taking on Banks/Evans), and is also better than Miami even if they are willing to trade Beasley.

I admire how Houston runs its organization, but personally I hope they aren't able to pull off the Bosh trade...I want as many consolation prizes out there as possible in the 2010 free agent sweepstakes. That is, assuming Miami isn't somehow able to manipulate the cap and get three max players.

Boston had their last hurrah when Ainge bought them the 07-08 championship. They are still a good team, but they just won't have enough left in the tank for a deep playoff run. When 2012 rolls around, Paul Pierce will be that much older, Kevin Garnett will be done, and Ray Allen will possibly be done. I don't see Rasheed Wallace with anything more than a couple years in the tank, either. There's just way too much age on that team. I can't wait to see Rondo's stats take a nose dive once he doesn't have any Hall of Famers to pass to. :chuckles:

Los Angeles will still be relevant in a couple years, I think. Kobe is still Kobe, Pau will still be pretty good, and Bynum (if they still have him) will be pretty good.

As for the Nets... doesn't look like that talented young core is doing a lot for them right now, although they'll bring in someone nice this summer. Same deal with the Knicks.

And then you have the Cavs... who will have plenty of cap space come 2011-12, the same year that guys like Caron Butler, Josh Howard, and even Yao Ming will be free agents.

LOL at the Lakers trading AB for CB4. Not chirping Bosh here, or Gasol, but man would that ever help this team a lot. Bynum brings the toughness in the paint that Bosh nor Gasol could ever dream of. With Shaq daddy here they would be destroyed inside IMO.

It's weird because Gasol and Bosh seems redundant to me. Especially with Odom off the bench. Then you don't have the low post option anymore.

Thank you.

Bosh and Gasol are the same damn player.
