You gotta love the way Delonte played this year, but if he's one of your top three guys you're not winning a championship (as Bill Simmons might say). Chris Bosh, on the other hand, could easily be the second best player on a championship team. I'd say Delonte can't be the one that breaks a deal for Bosh (which, btw, is a pipedream... but I enjoy it anyway).
And I know a lot of you think he's soft, but really, why does he need to bang? KG doesn't bang in the post as much as he used to (and probably will even less given his knee troubles) and being as physical as Andy sure as heck didn't help him guard Rashard Lewis. Bosh has the mobility necessary to guard a guy on the perimeter, and there aren't a whole lot of PFs that have a low-post game in the East. In fact, Philly is the only playoff team in the East that's starting PF has a strong low-post presence. What Bosh does defend well -- which was shown during the Olympics -- is the pick and roll. And what killed us more than the Hedo / Rashard p&r (except maybe the Hedo / Howard one)? With a guy like Bosh, then we don't have to worry about matching up on Lewis, and thus LeBron can guard Hedo. It would've seriously changed the complexion of the series. Delonte helped a ton, but really, having Bosh would've done a world more good than having Delonte did.
