Passengers.

Plot holes galore. Not enough Jennifer Lawrence cameltoe or tits. I hate the way she (and most women) runs. Was hoping for more Sci-Fi. Too much romance. Lot of good scenery outside of the ship and the ship itself though.

6.7/10 at best.

Is Arrival good?

Guardians of the Galaxy 10/10.

It was great. It supposed to be a fun movie, and it was that in spades. If you don't like it, its cause you were expecting way too much out of a movie like GOTG.

Guardians. I give it 8/10.

Good movie, but I think the hype ruined it a bit for me.

I was reading IT again last night. The parts with Pennywise that really stood out were

where Bill and Richie were trying to hunt down the Leper underneath the porch when it turned into a werewolf and when Stan was birdwatching and encountered Pennywise and the dead kids inside the standpipe.

From the glimpses here, I'm optimistic that they might be getting the relationships with the kids right. All you have to do is basically imitate "Stranger Things."

The look of Pennywise is very different than Tim Curry but he's scary af. Good Christ.

I read IT a long time ago, and while it had some very cool ideas, I also thought it had a lot of bloat, and some unnecessary weirdness. Sort of what happens in a lot of his books when he gets self-indulgent. But I think it could be really good with the right director.

Yeah, most of King's books have a lot of bloat.

The whole girl having sex with all the boys thing was completely unnecessary/gratuitous, especially considering their ages.
Kind of made me think of SK as a pretty sick fuck from that point forward, and not in a good way.

Also thought, and still think, that was completely bizarre. Still don't get it.

Seems like there would have been a plethora of different ways for them to destroy IT...but I'm not to the end of the book yet. Maybe upon re-reading it'll make more sense.

bladerunner 2049 looks beautiful..but it.. looks like a direct rip of 'the cell'. I wonder if he paid off Tarsem Singh.

Trouble with the Curve.

Clint Eastwood is great.
Amy Adams is great.
Justin Timberlake is great.

Movie is cliche but very enjoyable. 7.5/10
