And they're right .
I've seen more movies since I got movie pass two months ago than I did in the five previous years combined. I know I've gotten people to see stuff they otherwise would not have
yea, but the advertising base they want is running ads to their subscribers when they use the app. There doesn't seem to be a huge market there relative to the cost of the movie tickets they are giving away. It's like Uber giving free rides and trying to make the money back playing commercials on the app you use to book the ride. I can't imagine it will last long, but enjoy it while it lasts.
Last movie I went to, on the way there my daughter told me about someone who went to a movie a day for a year using movie pass. When they played the trailers, one of the movies looked really bad. I told her, "you have to see that movie too if you want to get in a movie every day".
