Richard Jefferson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I am secretly(not secretly anymore I guess) hoping that we trade Wally in retrun for R-Jeff or J-Rich(assuming we cant get Camby)....and I still think we can get Joe Smith back via buy-out/re-signing with us.

I agree that Wally for Jefferson would be a nice deal if Danny Boy can't swing a better deal for a post player like Camby, Kaman or Amare. My issue with Amare is that I'm afraid he would cost too much and there are isssues about his attitude etc. I personally like Kaman as a nice compliment to Z but not sure whwere he stands injury wise and not sure what he would cost. I like Camby and would do wally and 1st but not more for him....I also like Butler and VC to a lessor extent but not sure why the Nets would trade him if they want to make the playoffs. Butler , in my opinion would be great but I'm afraid he would cost as much as Amare.

I'm hoping for a miracle, Camby and Jefferson, although that's probably near to none chance of happening.

I hope they buy-out Joe Smith, and we then get Jefferson. That would be like the best case scenario, of realistically happening.

I don't think Jefferson would care coming off the bench. It's not like he'd not get minutes. What would happen is, Boobie's minutes would get cut, and West would play more backup point, as long as start.

Jefferson isn't a cancer, or unreasonable player. I've heard Jefferson in quite a few interviews, he comes off as one savvy and smart individual.

He has to at LEAST be on Ferry's list. If not, I don't understand Ferry at all. Okay, he doesn't have to be number one. But we better take a long look and seriously consider getting him. Especially if there's truly nothing better.

I think Kaman is next to impossible to get. I heard that he doesn't even want to come back until after the deadline, just so he doesn't get traded.

Bizarre, not wanting to be traded away from the Clippers. Sterling is cheap and he has a big contract, though.

The Clipper Curse, man. Once you leave the Clips, you're never the same.

Don't know if it's been said already, but there's an article on the realgm wiretap that says the Bucks will field offers for RJ. The cavaliers are the team the author mentioned, with wally being the centerpiece of the deal

He's washed up .

So are you just going to go through every trade idea claiming that all these guys who are under 30 are washed up? Seems productive.

Anyway I would love RJ, I actually feel that he's underrated. He plays really good defense and can score the ball, he would fit us perfectly.

I'm getting pretty anxious. With RJ and others now seemingly available, Danny Boy has lots of options to improve this team. While i think a low post player is probably a priority, I don't see him overpaying or trying to squeeze a round peg in square hole. The CAVs are a top team and with everyone back will be tough to beat with the team as it stands. I just don't see Danny jepordizing his options for this summer or 2010 by overpaying for someone like Amar who while a great player may not be an ideal fit for the team.

I personally would love Jefferson, but as much as I like him as being a part of this team, we need a big man and apparently that's how Ferry is thinking.

If we can't get Camby, and can't get either dream scenario, and there's no available solid big
Man available worth Wally, we GOTTA get Jefferson.

And Ive talked to alotta people who know what's going on in Milwaukee, and it's widely known that Jefferson isn't putting any real effort into games or even training because he does not like where he's playing, where the team is headed and the guys he's playing with. This is said for a number of players bit this a REAL situation of having no motivation to play in a bad situation. And most in Milwaukee think that the minute he gets traded to a contender his desire and motivation will reappear and he'll start being much more aggresssive on both ends of the court. Would be a kick in the teeth for the Bucks.

I wanna be on record saying I think Jefferson would be perfect at the 2 for us. He doesn't command the ball which would fit with having two ball dominant players in LBJ and Mo, currently a great outside shooter, used to and seems to like being a 2nd or 3rd option, great slasher (we need more points in the paint), can be an amazing defender and a good locker room dude.

Despite the fact we really do need another consistent big, i'd love RJ on our team. Barring any crazy trades for Bosh or Amare, getting RJ and somehow getting Joe Smith is by far the best thing we can do.

Any word on that OKC Sacramento trade? It's not crazy to think they buy him out as I can't see him wanting to miss the postseason.

Really? IT's okay to suck there, and you get to live in L.A...

ALot of lazy basketball players would probably love that.

even though wally played lights out in the first half...man was he exposed on defense in the third. god damnit, marcus camby would have made a difference in this game more so than RJ.

If a guy's motivation and desire isn't there and he is averaging 17+ a game I definitely wouldn't mind having him as a part of our team and get him in here and motivated to play for a winner, only if we can't get that big that we need...i.e. Camby who seems the most reasonable.

It seems that our best possibility if Dunleavy is really going to make Camby not available, I'll believe that when I see it, is to trade for Jefferson, hope both Joe Smith and Wally get bought out and return to the Cavs. Those are some big ifs and alot would have to go right in our situation for that to happen. Lots can happen in the next week and a half so it should be interesting.

I just have no desire to pick up Jefferson. I've been wholly unimpressed with his tenure with the Bucks.
