Dwight just stood and watched as Vince went right around him for a left handed lay-up at the rim. Didn't even jump. He's just not even trying on defense.

Which brings me to this question: Who will be the defensive player of the year this year? No real stand-outs. My guess would be LeBron finally gets it, just because theres not really anywhere else to go with it.

Lakers look like they can play against a similarly plodding team. Good minutes from the young guys. But no lead is safe for them.

I cannot believe I am sitting here watching the damn Lakers pulling for every friggin shot. It is so nauseating. I will never ever subject myself to this torture again after this season. I also want to mention that Nash just doesn't look like Nash to me with the short hair. It's just not him. Anyways, get to take a break for halftime before the suffering continues.

Kobe played 48 minutes in their last game.

He looks like he will play all 48 unless this gets out of hand late.

Can he keep this up for 8 more games with that kind of minute load and still be effective?

Wtf was that from Clark? Hustles to get a rebound only to immediately take a turn-around, long two? Why? What goes through a players head when he gets an offensive rebound that makes him think he, and only he, should be taking the next shot, no matter his position on the court?

Because he's having a tremendous game... Think he deserved it, to be honest. Not saying it was a "smart" play. But they have been pretty lifeless this quarter.
