So long, Spencer Hawes (signs with Clippers for MLE)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Or the Cavs don't want to take any other salary on......

Might be an option if no LeBron.

They've got nothing I want other than Bullock. But we'd have to take back more than that.

Wow. Griffin says we need shooting, shooting, shooting, and more shooting this offseason. Miles and Hawes goners with seemingly very little to no interest in keeping them around. I think this contract for Hawes is the most reasonable contract we have seen so far in free agency. Making the same per year as Jarret Jack and Patrick Patterson.

Griffin wants guys who can shoot AND play defense.

Are we gonna bite?

Who would we take back? Salaries would be a bitch to match. I'd trade them Jack and Hawes forJordan.

we really can't afford to take anything back from them, plus it's not like they have anything to offer other than Bullock (and picks i guess)

It's a few days waiting game. If we end up with LeBron, we probably have no interest in taking on any salary from them.

If we whiff on LeBron, we might take on Barnes and Bullock and 2nd round pick, with Barnes salary being fully non guaranteed in 2015

They've got nothing I want other than Bullock. But we'd have to take back more than that.

Depending on how everything else plays out, I'd take Matt Barnes. They might need to send out more salary though.

EDIT: Second MirOrich's idea. If they want to take on more salary they should be motivated enough to give up a minor asset like a future second rounder in addition to Bullock (who is a bit meh to me but whatever; we don't have to extend).

Unless one of the two teams make an extremely stupid decision, there will not be a sign and trade for Hawes.

I feel like they are trying sell us on someone like Jared Dudley.

No thanks.
