Theoretically Ante Zizic

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He will be a solid Center in a few years i think. He is still growing. Maybe not here but his future is in the NBA.

Bump. Tonight marks the start of of the legendary Zizec phenomena.

Awesome!

Lue yanked him after like 4 minutes and I never saw him again. He gave up on him a bit too fast.

Just no chemistry and you can tell they don't know how to deal with his style on the floor. AC said they need to practice some sets with AZ running with the first team sometime. That would probably help.

I wish Lue gave him a couple more minutes in the 2nd half. Just to show him that he's not in the doghouse and hurt his confidence. He really wasn't that bad personally, there just wasn't any chemistry with the starters.

I hope they practice with him during these 3 days and maybe we'll see him more.

Can't blame him for that terrible start. It took the bench mob to tie the game up. Starters didn't have it. I'd love to see him starting next to Love for a couple of games and getting more than 5 minutes per game before he's given up on. Obviously they see something more in Cedi considering he made a few mistakes that could have been costly to start the 4th.

So it’s the rest of the team that needs to adapt to him? Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

Can’t take anything away from last night. The starters are always garbage and they were still bad after Green was subbed in for Zizic. Didn’t turn things around until Wade, Korver, and them came in.

The first look he got was a bailout 12 foot jumper that was not a great look. Could have hotten hkm a dunk of somethomg simpler

The main thing is for Lue or someone else from the coaching staff talking to him to make sure his confidence isn't shot , just letting him know that it was more due to his lack of familiarity with the starters and what he can work on.

It's a two way street.

Lue did seem sincere when he made a positive comment about how it felt good to see Zizec get the start.

I was really surprised that he even played. At least we can confirm, that Lue does know about his existence. :git:

Did anyone criticizing his benching watch Zizic play last night? The Sixers attacked him literally every possession. He's slow footed, and was getting dragged out of the paint, which is a terrible combination of factors.

Then on offense, because he's not as familiar with the team as, say, TT, he was completely clogging the lane.

I really like Zizic. But he did not deserve one more minute last night. Hopefully he keeps getting these short spurts throughout the season so he can improve, but I have not seen anything warranting more playing time.
