This is crazy, but I want Iverson.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What about Allen Iverson, I'm so desparate right now, I need someone.

Just offer the BAE, and maybe he'll buy it.

:(

So, you're not desperate for some action?

Horrible horrible fit.

The fans vote the All-Stars...it doesn't have much to do with overall ability anymore. Fans would still vote Patrick Ewing into the game if he trotted out there and sweat all over center court for 15 minutes a game.

No I'm not

Explain why he is such a "Horribel, Horrible" fit?

aSo what the fans vote, the guy still averaged 18 ppg and 5 assists. When Mo was averaging 18 ppg and 4 assissts. ?

Mo was EXTREMELY more efficient with his 18 points. Not even close.

Do you really need to read it?

He instantly killed any chances for Detroit last season, and is no longer a premier player in this league.

But we should sign him because you're desperate for some action?

As hard as it is to believe because he was once a great player...but players who provide ZERO defense and refuse to play in a team offensive scheme don't often translate to a team trying to get over the hump to a championship.
How many freaking times are you all going to say he ruined Detroit? Because it's NOWHERE near the truth of it. Jesus, even ask a Pistons fan.. They will tell you the dumb ass of a head coach, the failure of Sheed wanting to try, and the failure of having their leader Billups out there were all parts of their downfall. How did Iverson kill any chances Detroit had last year? Tell me, I'd love to hear the reason(s).

I watched a youtube video of Iverson trying to get involved with the Piston players during a game, and they just bumped into him after he tried to slap their hands with congrats.. How is that Iverson's fault the players didn't want to welcome him in? How is it Iverson's fault the team didn't embrace him after Billups was traded?

Arguing he ruined Detroit's chances or whatever is a pointless argument, you guys can try better than that..

How does starting Mo Williams lite next to Mo Williams help this team?

I'll take D-West over AI at this point. West plays D, West can shoot more efficiently, West is bigger.

If we add anything at the 2-3 spot, it should be a long athletic swing man who can shoot....not Mo Williams sans defense who chucks it up way too much.

Getting someone just to get someone is a good way to show King James this team has NO direction.

Mo would be averaging 14 ppg without a player like LeBron.

AI had NO ONE.

Then how did he score 17 a game in Milwaukee?

Mo's TS% and ES% in his last year in Mil and with us

Milwaukee - 56.6% and 52.8%
Cleveland - 58.8% and 54.8%

Slight increase, but pretty similar.

AI's CAREER HIGHS in both were his only full year in Denver at 56.7% and 48.8%. So Iverson at his peak efficiency (with Carmelo Anthony) wasn't as good as Mo's last year in Milwaukee, with Michael Redd.

You don't think that that would improve more with leBron?

LeBron draws more attention than Melo.

Everybody's would improve. But the numbers clearly show Mo's efficiency without LeBron > AI's efficiency without LeBron.

I'm not saying get rid of Mo? I'm saying add AI. We wouldn't lose that efficiency.

This argument was about whether Mo was better than AI last year, which he clearly was, and it wasn't just because of LeBron.

The main reason why he doesn't fit here is because he won't come off the bench with a good attitude, as evidenced by him quitting on the Pistons last year.

Than start him? Mo will be willing to come off the bench I'm sure.

How does that make any sense? Moving your most efficient shooter to the bench for a ball stopper on the downside of his career?
