Trade the 8th pick? Where? Why? How?

PG III would obviously be perfect for us but I have no idea how we get him. We would need him to make it his major priority to come to Cleveland to play with Lebron, and turn down all other alternatives, like LA, Philadelphia, staying in OKC etc. With the sign and trade route, there are multiple other teams that could easily outbid us to get him, including Philadelphia and Boston.

Exactly. I feel like Portland would want to package him with Evan Turner to clear cap space for next summer. #8 and absorbing Evan Turner's contract might be overpaying but getting a player with playoff experience at a position of need we might need to over pay. Ideally we trade with the Clippers and move back to get #12 and #13, to use #12 to get McCollum and use #13 for another trade or draft someone.
 
After Friday, we will need second and third superstars, next to Cedi.

I think you need to dangle Love and the #8 for someone like The Unibrow. Then SOME bad team has to be interested in the Hood/Clarkson pu pu platter. Those guys would look AWESOME in Charlotte. Just give us Kemba. Then maybe we get something for Bron in a Sign & Trade. Maybe Saric, Reddick, and Covington.

That gives us a starting line-up of Kemba-Cedi-Covington-Nance-Unibrow.

Zizic off the bench.

Add depth with JR’s and TT’s expirings.

That team wins the East for years to come!

Keep the pick and re-build. We already hedged towards it in mid-season anyway.

LeBron isn't coming back.

I don't have much confidence either but we have no other option.

Still aghast that they passed on Tatum. You could argue that he wouldn't have developed like this, so soon with us but at least we would have been guaranteed to get a good talented player who can at least get his own buckets.

No one in this team other than LeBron and probably Hill can create for their own shots. Thats just ridiculous.

It's time honestly... how long can you keep hoping Kevin Love snaps out of it and become that 25/10 guys we were droooling over. Or have backups to give Lebron a legitimate rest...

We could sell OKC on getting a complimentary all star for a guy who is gonna walk unless traded (cp3 scenario). Love for PG. Draft Bamba. Then find a way to pull off @gourimoko Kemba trade by taking on Batum. Expirings + Zizic and our 2022 1st. While the later is unrealistic. You could trot out a lineup of:
Kemba
PG13
LBJ
Batum
Bamba

Move anyone not named Cedi & Calderon for depth. Then fill out the roster with cheap guys. Give Dan a slight break in tax payments before you have to re-up Pg & Kemba.

Then most importantly..... fire Lue.
