Re: Trading Kyrie Irving

Kyrie is studly, he just need a running mate and high quality role players. Nobody on this team is a 2nd fiddle. Only TT has shown something but he's just average at best right now. The rest are garbage.

Re: Trading Kyrie Irving

and the team will look like garbage again. the reason people are lamabasting your post is because you dont seem to understand why they look like garbage.

Theres alot of areas the Cavs can improve on in intangibles and execution. That has nothing to do with talent. We should all be experts by now on the difference between garbage from a lack of talent and garbage thats a by product of a young team that is still melding.

Its time to let the team grow. have consistent lineups. play with high energy and work on those intangibles. not just recycle with younger players and compound the issues.

The Cavs build took its course because the roster was toasted and the cupboard bare. They had to there was really no other viable choice for the team. now after just doing it. you want to do it all over again after 12 games.

This team wont even reach its full potential for another 3 years.

of course we would look bad again....im not a moron

and im not suggesting we do this now, after 12 games

i clearly stated if we end up in the basement again

kyrie will leave the FIRST chance he gets if we keep losing ...believe that

we failed in 3yrs to put a blue chip prospect next to him

if we had a chance to get two blue chip prospects and lose for another year....whatever

look at okc with russ and kev ...took them one year sucking together before they got it going

lets jump in the time machine and go back to 2003

cavs have a shit team and lets pretend a star pg, lets say Jason Kidd (he was a beast in 03)

we get the number 4 pick, with kidd we dont suck quite enough to get the #1

our team full of failed picks and role players

however team with the #1 or #2 calls us about our star PG

we could have melo bosh, lebron wade, lebron melo, wade bosh

all im saying is if we continue looking like garbage

and u get a call to make a crazy move ....u have to think about it

Re: Trading Kyrie Irving

Fuck off already.

Was thinking the same thing.

We aren't getting LeBron, Durant, Westbrook, Anthony Davis, Kevin Love, James Harden, Paul George, Marc Gasol, Blake Griffin or Chris Paul for him (and I'm sure I'm forgetting guys) so righr now what's the point.

Re: Trading Kyrie Irving

Irving is the only redeeming part of this piece of shit right now, why would we trade him

Even if he isn't having the greatest stretch of basketball ever, I mean come on.

You can get rid of just about everyone else and I wouldnt bat an eyelash though.

please read the op

i am NOT suggesting we trade kyrie now or anytime during the season

i was very specific

if we end up with a top 4-5 pick

and a team with a higher pick calls us, giving us 2 picks in the top 4-5

do we think about it?

Awesome. He just needs what everyone would love to have. Easy.

Honest truth? He needs to either change his game or move over a spot, because I'm not sure who can play second fiddle when he dominates the ball the way he does and doesn't look to pass.

lol what?? from my op, i said if we end up with a top 5 pick and the team with 1 or 2 calls us we should think about it.... did u read?

what im saying is... if we could walk away with our own top 5 pick and another in the top 5, should we do it?

what if we could walk away with marcus smart and parker, wiggins, gordon, randle???

we'd have to think about it...

Re: Trading Kyrie Irving

Only way I do this Is If somehow we pick 6 or under and then a team calls In the top 2 and wants Kyrie and whatever or lower pick. I say you do that as that means you could go Wiggins or Parker who ever Is there and then one of Exum, Amblid, Or Smart will be there at 6. So that Is the only way I see trading Kyrie turns Into a win for the Cavs otherwise NO WAY. At least not now. The only other way Is if they know he will leave the minute that comes up then you have to trade him of course we all been there before ::sigh::

No because Kyrie has proven his skills have translated in the NBA and he is one of the best.

exactly what i said in the OP ....if we have a shot at 2 top 5 picks

i actually forgot about amblid and exum

fuuuuck this draft is deep

Re: Trading Kyrie Irving

I would only trade Kyrie for Jabari in that draft.

Re: Trading Kyrie Irving

Great thread. 9/10. Would read again.

Re: Trading Kyrie Irving

Why is this thread still here

Until shit gets better just expect this kinda thing and go with It for fun If nothing else. this Is more fun than watching the games at this point.
