Welcome Deron Williams

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
 I wasn't betting money it: surpise pick similar to no one thought AI was going to win it going into 2 years ago. Otherwise it's going to be Lebron, Irving, Durant, or Curry

Issue is Curry and Durant shrink in these moments, i would say Draymond has a good shot at winning it because he is the only player on that entire team who's level of play increases when the game and championship is on the line.

If Deron was on GS he would have a better chance, but no way Lebron and Kyrie dont put up big numbers, especially Lebron.

I get the AI comparison now, but completely different type of players on both teams.

Kyrie would have to be hurt and Deron would have to come through as very clutch and play like an allstar.

Issue you is Lebron would still win it.

Lebron is the only player playing today that comes close to Jordan, and in 6 final wins, Jordan never came close to losing MVP to Pippen.

Yeah except he hasn't won an MVP in I don't know how long. In that respect he is unlike Jordan. They gave Jordan every award.

I really just meant if Kyrie were to go down and Deron lead the team to victory it would be such a surprise, they might give him finals MVP. No way in hell is this happening.

pretty upbeat about the Cavs chances even after Game 1, but if D-Will plays like this all series, they are in trouble. He could be a difference maker like RJ was last year, but he played so slow and out of it that it was difficult to watch. I posted this play where he turns his head while Clark snakes behind him on the cut. Also what is he doing out here after he lets Curry get the runner? So bad...

Looked so lethargic. Like he was in quicksand...

He sucked last night....period... On to game 2

Deron was MIA in game 1. If he's going to be the first guy off the bench he has to play at top form, not like the washed up version of himself.

I've been saying it since after about 5 or 10 games or so of watching Deron play with us... signing him was the worst thing that happened to the Cavs this year.

Our best bench lineup was when we got Derrick Williams and played a big lineup + LeBron at PG. That lineup was crushing teams and Derrick was playing pretty damn good. As soon as Deron came, that lineup was gone and the bench went to shit in my opinion.

I believe this is a classic case of a guy getting playing time solely based on his past achievements and status in the league. No way has he at any point actually deserved to play over Derrick this season. It's bullshit. One of my least favorite Cavs ever. Can't stand watching him play.

Its not even the scoring zero points and missing wide open shots. His defense has been horrifyingly poor. He can't be on the floor any more. He probably cost us 10 points in a 1 point game.

Get 'em outta here!

Out out out!
