This team needs to make a trade to get younger in the frontcourt and tweak some weaknesses...but the more and more you watch them play trading Z is not going to help at all.

I don't think the team ever considered trading Z without a buyout. I'm really glad Ferry doesn't make panic trades, he stuck with his signings and I think they are really paying off.

This is why we have him and he does his job. We move Z and wally and JJ, we get two solid players back and Z buy-out.

It will be funny to see how fast people flop on this topic and start loving Shaq again. We didn't get Shaq to beat Memphis, Chicago or Washington we got him for games like this. At his age he is not going to be able to play great every night but when we face teams like L.A or Orlando Shaq shows up. To everyone who said "trade Shaq" "Shaq old and sucks" and all of that stuff well he looked good today and that is why we got him.

I have personally seen enough of Shaq, he does not help us in any way. The Orlando game was the equivalent of the sun shining on a dog's ass every once in a while. If we are banking on 2 quick fouls on Howard every time we play Orlando we are going to be in trouble.

I say we really need to move Shaq for players who can still play in the NBA.

I would even consider an Okafer and Peja deal for Shaq. Then move Z for Murphy or Jamison.

Unless Shaq has about 7-8 games straight where he is downright awful, there is no way Ferry even thinks about this by FEB. Do i wnat him back next year? no, but he is fine for this year as a role player!
