Is there any scenario where you could see us trade the #1 pick for more picks/players? Would you trade with a team that had 2 first rd picks and maybe a big or is Davis all we need? Let me know your thoughts...

no way...Anthony Davis looks like he could be a once-in-a-generation player. I don't think anyone is crazy enough to pass on Davis.

I poop my pants and scream like a little school girl. That is what happens......

No way in hell do we trade away that pick. Davis is going to be a superstar. If I was Grant I would obviously pick Davis and then trade assets (Andy) and our #24 pick to snag someone like Jeremy Lamb. Sign a Center in FA. Davis would seriously take our rebuild into the fast lane, effectively chopping a year off the time.

Here's where you put the cart....

This is a huge gap...

Talking about trading the Anthony Davis pick is putting the cart waaay before the horse.

Draft Anthony Davis. Trade Tristan Thompson + fillers for another lotto pick if possible. Draft one of Lamb, Leonard, Zeller, etc.

No way in hell do you trade Davis. That would be like trading Kyrie last year.

I'd trade it if I could get 2 top tens

We get Anthony Davis, we just start getting ready for parades in a couple years.

If by some miracle the Cavs manage to land the #1 pick again, you in no way even consider trading it.

Pointless conversation. There are plenty of possible future all-stars in this coming crop of draft picks. Anthony Davis would be great, but we don't need to center the discussion around acquiring, much less trading him. Numerous guys could come in and immediately help this team. Davis just happens to be the best of this bunch.

No way in hell do you trade the #1 pick. The only year I would have ever seriously considered trading the #1 pick is 06. After Lebron and Oden, Davis is arguably the 3rd most hyped prospect of the last decade. Not saying hype = success, but I think is going to be damn good.

If we get Davis, to pair with Kyrie, and Varejao stays healthy all next year, we make the playoffs...probably wouldn't just be the 8th seed either.

Exactly. The Cavs would be the next team in line when it comes to building a future powerhouse.

Lakers = old
Heat- Wade is aging. I think LBJ opts out in 2014
OKC- Still young, but may have salary problems trying to keep all their players.
Celtics- Old
Bulls- Rose might not ever be the same.

I don't see any young team on the horizon that is on pace to be a big time playoff contender. The East is in shambles right now. In a few year, I believe it will be open for the taking. Kyrie, Davis, TT, and a somewhat big free agent (think Rudy Gay level) and this team is going to do some damage. Treadmill teams like the Nuggets, 76ers, Pacers, Hawks, etc. = irrelevevant. The Cavs are doing an amazing job of building this team.
