And then we trade AV and #24 for Portland's pick and take Zeller.

I would have no problem trading the pick. Davis is badly overrated and frankly no different than the prospects below him(MKG,Beal,Drummond).

If some "bad" team in the top 4-5 wants to give up a unprotected pick next year, great.

With the injury problems they have had over the years, I don't think Portland would touch AV.

It seems to me Tristan Thompson and Anthony Davis would set the team up for a formidable defensive front court for years to come. What TT lacks in height/length and offensive polish Anthony Davis has in spades. There would be no reason to trade either player.

Yea, it really wasn't a bad trade proposal at all. I actually like Zeller more than most. He would be a great fit next to TT.

Last year when we got the #1 pick it seemed pretty obvious that Kyrie Irving was the pick. However, there was still a good deal of debate from the not so silent minority.

Seems even more obvious this year that Anthony Davis will be the #1 pick. I'm sure some crazy debate would be conjured up if we got the pick, I'm just trying to figured out what it would be.
