Will Cavs make run at Bosh this summer?

Hear me out here. We are not getting D-Wade, Amare, or Joe Johnson this summer but I believe, as outlined below, we have a chance at making a very strong run at Bosh!

1. Bosh gets the most $ in resigning with Toronto
2. Bosh doesn't sound like he wants to leave Toronto high-and-dry.
3. Cleveland might have the most to offer in a S&T
4. I believe New York might get Nash or Johnson at best to go along with Bosh.
5. New York has nothing to offer Toranto in a S&T (they have no roster or future draft picks)

The first step would be to convince Bosh that Cleveland is the place to be (LeBrons Job). Bosh has all the power and can mandate where he wants to go or walk away and leave Toronto with nothing.

If I were cleveland I would give up a core package of Telfair, West, JJ, Jamison and 2 future picks.

Not true... Bosh has the say where he goes which narrows the list a whole lot!!!

No, we will not get him. How the hell is Jamison a good piece for them? Because he expires in like 2 years? I don't get how that package could even sniff Chris Bosh. Look, I absolutely salivate at the thought of Amare or Bosh teaming up with LeBron, but this was probably our last chance to do something like that. I don't think teaming a young star with LBJ is realistic anymore. Not with the way the team has been built.

It's gonna take a S&T to get him, so expect JJ, Delonte, Green, and some others to make salary's work. But Toronto is gonna expect to come off big in a possible Bosh deal.

Thank god we kept JJ because he can be the golden ticket for us to get Bosh. Like I said it will take alot in talent and possible 2012, 2014 1st round picks.

I'd put Andy in for a trade for Bosh. Gotta give up to get something.

Delonte, Gibson, Hickson, Jamison would all be good in a trade for him, plus picks. We'd be able to keep Andy then maybe. Even adding in Powe...sounds like alot, but Bosh is worth it. We could come back with a starting 5 of Shaq-Bosh-Bron-Parker-Mo, with Z-Andy-Moon off the bnch, as well as Jawad and Green. Plus we'd sign a couple players with the MLE.

Me to. Last deadline I learned my lesson about not getting my hopes up. This deadline just reinfored that lesson and I won't do it. Until Bosh is a Cavalier I will not post in the "Bosh wants to be a Cavalier" thread.

He will never, ever be a Cavalier. So you and I won't have to be tempted.

I thought I learned my lesson last year too but this year the info seemed SO much more concrete and it seemed like it had a better chance...funny that it turns out we were closer to getting Amare last year than this year.

That does nothing to refute my statement that every team will look at trying to inquire Bosh.
