Will Cavs make run at Bosh this summer?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's gonna take a S&T to get him, so expect JJ, Delonte, Green, and some others to make salary's work. But Toronto is gonna expect to come off big in a possible Bosh deal.

Thank god we kept JJ because he can be the golden ticket for us to get Bosh. Like I said it will take alot in talent and possible 2012, 2014 1st round picks.

Ferry will be in the Bosh sweepstakes!

IF he leaves Toronto I just gotta believe it will be in a S&T so he's not leaving them with nothing. I would guess that the Lakers would be big players also.

What would the Lakers give up? Bynum?

I would love for the Lakers to get Bosh. That would make our road to the finals a lot easier beause Bosh and Pau are the same damn player.

Bosh is a bit better, but yeah.

Nah.....Bosh is tougher, and has range on his jumper.

He will never, ever be a Cavalier. So you and I won't have to be tempted. :)

I thought I learned my lesson last year too but this year the info seemed SO much more concrete and it seemed like it had a better chance...funny that it turns out we were closer to getting Amare last year than this year.

Gahh I felt the same way... hence the reason I had like 250 or so posts in that thread. :D

Never getting my hopes up for a young stud alongside LeBron again.

I will hold you to that this summer :)

I might be gone this summer from mid june to mid aug wonder what all I am going to miss.

Not much. I think we can make some small moves here and there but for the next 2 years this should be the team we got.

Yes, we will inquire.

No, we will not get him. How the hell is Jamison a good piece for them? Because he expires in like 2 years? I don't get how that package could even sniff Chris Bosh. Look, I absolutely salivate at the thought of Amare or Bosh teaming up with LeBron, but this was probably our last chance to do something like that. I don't think teaming a young star with LBJ is realistic anymore. Not with the way the team has been built.

The new CBA and the likelihood of a lockout in 2011 makes predictions hazardous, but I think the next realistic opportunity the Cavs will have to add a star is summer of 2011 or before the deadline two years from now. Some team will overpay a free agent this summer and they will struggle, and will look to get out of the contract. The Cavs will have Jamison's expiring and, let's hope, a few emerging young players that could be included in the trade. Plus they will be able to trade their 2012 pick.

Believe it or not, I came to a similar conclusion...I actually figured February 2012 (deadline) and that summer would be our next chance for a major addition. Dunno about Summer 2011...

that's a LONG ways away, so we better hope this is enough to win it all.

Bosh likely stays in Toronto, with Houston, Dallas and Miami as darkhorse teams if he doesnt...
