Windhorst: Kaman and Camby on Cavaliers' radar

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If you can get Kamen for a reasonable price than you have to seriously consider doing it. I've given reasons a ton of times. With him you have a solid player at C for possibly the next 5-8 years if you keep him after his contract is up. Still young, has been productive and I don't see the injuries he's had as ones that could cause any serious long term problems.

I'd think the Clippers look to move Randolph and Kamen first before Camby in order to get rid of a longer contract.

I've said it before and I will say it again.

How do you replace an ugly 7 foot white guy? Get an uglier 7 foot white guy.

I also really like Kaman. He's a guy that can score on his own, and he is definitely a physical presence.

I'm pretty sure he's a guy that does not even take mid-range shots. Can somebody help me out, am I right?

The frustration you have with Z's defense, would be about the same with Okafors offensive.

However Okafor shoots above 53% from the field and averages a double double...Plus his defensive capabilities surpass anything Z could do.

-In closing I would take either Kaman or Okafor happily because they both improve our team greatly.

Fair enough, I'd rather have Kaman..

I'm pretty sure that Kaman can hit the 15-18 ft jumper with pretty good regularity, he just doesn't take a lot of them.

I think if it comes between kaman and okafor (assuming same assets to get) i lean toward Kaman. He is more of a true all around center, but either would be good options.

Not sure I would want to touch camby at this point of his career for anything mroe than a Lorenzon wright type role...he just cant stay healthy.

I'd like Kaman, depending on what it takes to get him. There are other possibilities that can fill more than one need for us...

I'd take him instantly. Young, has post moves, blocks shots, and is active. Sounds good to me.

Just stay healthy please....But isn't that what we said about Mo? He had a lot of injuries...and this year, nothing. Maybe he hates Dunleavy more than Bill Simmons does (If thats even possible) and doesn't want to put up with his shit? IDK, but If he can stay healthy, he'd be exactly what we need.
