I always think worst case scenario I don't know why but I do when it comes to Cleveland sports It especially doesn't help when all of these young guys are going back to school for next year. So, what do we do if we get the 3rd pick and Irving and Williams go one and 2 or vise versa? Does Kemba Walker warrant a 3rd overall pick? Especially in a week draft this year. But with Barnes, Jones, and Sullinger going back to school who else do you take with that 3rd pick? And after the 8th, what do you do if Kanter is gone? Do you take a chance on drafting Walker and Knight? Or do you take a chance on the Jimmer with the 8th pick.

Just wanted to get some thoughts on worst case scenario situations. Beside the jumping off the 480 bridge joke.

I think we would have to go with a big, either Kanter or Jonas. Maybe Knight......I definitely don't want another small SG in Kemba but I think he'll turn out alright. I'm gonna pass on Jimmer too. Until the Lottery happens we're gonna have the first pick!!!!

Any scenario where we end up with Kemba or Jimmer can be correctly classified as worst case.

Kemba Walker would make me jump off the 480 bridge.

With the Cavs win last night they all but clinched the 2nd worst record. That's amazing in itself but still looks like they'll pick anywhere from #1 to #5 with their 1st pick.

In my opinion the top 5 guys on the Cavs board (Assuming Barnes, PJIII, Sullinger all stay in school) in no particular order are...
Irving, Williams, Kanter, Valanciunas, Vesely

For the LAC pick I think there are 4 choices
Brandon Knight, Terrance Jones, Jordan Hamilton, Kawhi Leonard

We should be locked in to 2 of those 9 guys. I don't want any part of Walker with our pick nor do I want him with the LAC pick.

I can see why people would hate on Jimmer...but why Kemba?

Kemba is not a PG and at 6'1 170 lbs he's a very small SG so right off the bat you have an issue. He's a volume scorer which means he requires a lot of shots in order to get his points. He's not a particularly good 3 point shooter which he'll have to be at the next level because his small frame can only take so much abuse driving to the basket. I think a reasonable comparrison on the high end would be Brandon Jennings.

I didn't necessarily say I wanted Kemba say but I was just talking worst-case scenario if we get the 4th pick and the guys we want our gone. I think I would rather have Knight over Walker because Knight is a bigger guard and in my opnion is a point guard. Now if we took a big with the 1st pick and Kemba was there at 8 then I would consider taking Kemba at 8 but I wouldn't really want to take him at 4 like everybody said. So you would want no part in Walker if he's on the board when we pick at 8?

I think Kemba's going to be a quality player in the NBA, honestly. If it shakes out how feel it will, we'll be getting Derrick Williams at #2 and Enes Kanter/Kemba at #8. I don't think anyone could really consider that a BAD draft. Say what you want about the measurables on Kemba, but the dude is a player. Not to mention all the publicity we'd get if we got him.

If we get Williams and Kemba would be a great draft but I'm talking worst case scenario here. What if we get the 4th pick and Irving, Williams, Walker and Kanter are all gone? Then what would you do? I highly doubt that Walker would go top 3 but that would be a dissaster if this were to happen then now what? This is what I'm afraid of here. Getting the 4th pick in the draft and all of the players being already taken.

If we are picking at #4 and #8, I would take the best Euro big available with the first pick, and then Terrence Jones or Alec Burks with the second pick. I would then look to draft Norris Cole with our first second round pick. Kanter/Burks/Cole, worst things have happened.

Davis/Sessions/Cole
Burks/Gibson/Harris
Eyenga/Gee
Hickson/Samuels/Harangody
Varejao/Kanter/Erden

With that roster, I would look to move Jamison, Hollins, and Graham for the best pick/bad contract combination we can find.

How would 4 players be gone in the first 3 picks?

I would rather have Cole than Walker. I don't want either with our 1st round picks though.
