Your apology rings hollow, LeBron (Sam The Bullshit Whisperer)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Heat is gonna win in 6 so you all might as well face facts

And you're not gonna get laid in 6 (years) so you might as well face facts.

Ohhhh this is fun. Stating obvious opinions as facts. I can get used to this.

Seriously, what is your purpose on these boards? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but taking the contrarian, pro-LeBron pov seems rather calculated.

I find it interesting that this bigjmac member is one of the few who publicly states he loves James, according to his own poll, and lives in Akron and happens to be a member in here. Well, the other few are the couple of Miami Heat fans. They do have a couple of fans down there I think. Just a couple.

Everyone has their take. I have 1 thing to say though, Miami will not beat the Bulls.

Just like it didn't beat Boston, as you predicted ?

The one thing that I feel has not been discussed throughly on this topic is the timing of this "apology." To me, to wait until after he beat Boston to do this is just another slap in the face. Basically like apologizing to your ex wife for cheating on her after your wedding to another woman and saying, I'm sorry that I cheated on you. You just weren't providing me enough sex and you are ugly. Basically, its more of the same with him....just pointing fingers again instead of looking at his own actions through an "apology". It also shows me that it was weighing on him and that he has had questions about the move. He had to wait until his point was made (and by the way, it was only beating a very beat up and demoralized team...not like this is the finals) before he could say anything.

I also noticed in his comments that he talked about back home....I thought he was still adored in Akron and tha Cleveland was irrelevant to him? Why would he need to apologize to Akron.....just found that n interesting step back from his and his media friends saying he was still loved in Akron.

Im not a Miami Heat fan to clairfy, im a Lebron James fan. Im also a Cleveland Cavaliers fan. I was Lebron James fan before he was even drafted. So you cant judge me for who the athletes i like. Just because he quit and walked out on the team you guys are gonna hate. Belle, Manny, Thome, Boozer, etc. all walked out on their respective Cleveland teams for money and you still take Lebron as the most hated person in Cleveland.

The fact that you are even making the comparison to Bell, Manny, Thome or even Boozer pisses me off and makes me understand that you do not understand why people are angry.

It's not the leaving, it's how he left. The fact that you are still a LeBron James fan after what he did to you, spitting in your face, tells me all I need to know about you. I now remember why you are on my ignore list.

Guess what i hated how he left and i did lose respect for him but i still think he's a great athlete and he's still one of my favorite athletes

Belle, Manny, Thome, Boozer; none of those guys quit, Lebron did. In my mind, and no one is going to tell me differently, Lebron James quit in that playoff series vs. the Celtics. Even if you're a fan of his from High School you had to lose respect for him because of what he did in that series. It was disgraceful.

Belle, Manny and Thome all hurt but I got over those guys pretty quickly and actually rooted for them in post Cleveland days. Boozer is another story. He's a disgrace. He backstabbed us in a Lebron-like calculated way. Like Lebron, I will waste almost no time thinking about Boozer anymore because that piece of garbage isn't worth it.

I seriously feel sorry for you if you really don't get it, and if those are the types of athletes you root for/look up to. That is sad.

Doug, not everyone is like you and me. In other words, not everyone is willing to state their thoughts knowing full well they're going to take a lot of flack, even hate for it. In my experience most people are not like that and would just rather avoid saying something that's going to draw a negative reaction.

So don't think you have a handle on how many folks in North East Ohio are still fans of James.

Heck, here's an old poll from Cleveland.com that shows that even 10 months ago over 1/2 the respondents already felt they were over James leaving, had moved on, or never really cared in the first place. On the flip side, 9% said they moved on from anger to depression, 21% were still pissed, and 19% just can't believe it.

The numbers on RealCavsFans may very well skew differently, but it's hard to say unless we could conducted our own poll - and even then our base now is very different than our base a year ago. After all, the WallyWorld types tend to move on when their favorite player leaves a team.

You must be too young to understand what the word respect really means then. If you say you lost respect but in the same sentence he's your favorite athlete, ... that does not compute. I respect most of the Pro NBA players but don't actually like most of them. A couple I respect and really like are Rose and Durant. I can honestly say I loath James and he's my least respected Pro Athlete in ALL sports.

I'm guessing you are about his age and probably went to same high school. That's sad. If you see him, tell him to look me up please.
