Your Top 5

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I can assure you Irving is not a 50/46/90 guy.

And if any of you out there believe this, come back to reality.

Over an entire season, I project Irving to be a 45/38/80 -- in his prime

Not bad percentages, but something you can find easily in the NBA.

Well, according to 2K11, Irving has career averages of 20-8-3 with %s of 48/40/88 (3 seasons).

Right this is really irritating, normally I would just let it slide but the audacity of this presumptious post is insane. Firstly there is no way of knowing how well he will shoot, shooting percentages are so related to context its unbelievable (a good example is the shaq effect on 3 point shooters). Secondly, plenty of the outstandingly efficient shooters in the league starter off as just good and kept improving, for example steve nash didnt come in with a rap of being outstandingly efficient (ncaa career .430 fg%). Most people would not try to assure people one way or another

I would be interested to know Myoung, who is your top 5 pre-NCAA tourney?

After Kyrie Irving there is no particular order of Kanter, Perry Jones, Sullinger and Derrick Williams. Haven't seen Valanciunas at all so I can't put him in there in good conscious.

I don't place much emphasis on the tournament.

I saw Perry Jones for the first time against Texas. It was a pretty underwhelming performance. I can see why he's highly rated- he's very long, he's athletic, and he can do things with the ball. However, at this stage, he's still very raw. He's very thin and softer than a baby's bottom. He's a small forward in the NBA and the player he reminds me most of is Anthony Randolph.

Here's my top 5:

1. Kyrie Irving
2. Jared Sullinger
3. Perry Jones
4. Derrick Williams
5. Enes Kanter

Interestingly enough, Eli's Eyes remains the worst poster on the board. The gap between him and second worst is about as vast as the one between Irving and Perry Jones.

Any pluses minuses, you mind elaborating on in your mind? You think Jones will ever get a heart, is Sullinger to small to be a dominant NBA player, can D.Will play the 3???

i'm think one of the mods finally banned him so if nothing else we can start discussing perry jones and every other prospect without annoying comments on the side :D

Hey, what is Brandon Knight draft projection?
Lotto? Top 20? 1st?

1. Derrick Williams
2. Kyrie Irving
3. Perry Jones
4. Jared Sullinger
5. Terrance Jones

I really am extremely high on Derrick Williams. Watch his highlights extremely athletic, 6-8, averaging close to 20pts and 8 rebounds this year. Shooting over 60% from both two and three. I really want him with one of our two lottery picks. Kyrie Irving is an extremely close 2nd IMO.

In no particular order:

Irving
T Jones
Barnes
Valanciunas
DWilliams

Didn't someone post a quip saying the Cavs FO was high on Valanciunas...or was that Motiejunas?

That may have been W&G.. IDK though. Somebody posted something by W&G in the safari thread and I think he mentioned that.
