man watching the Lakers summer league game...the Lakers have a long way to go...a few years at least for Ball and Ingram to mature...I still can't fathom Lebron going there...I could be wrong but...

We don't really need Jamal, but I hope we get him.

Love the man. One of the nicest guys in Basketball and the more you hear about him as a person off the court, the more you would love. Everyone who has met him has great things to say. As a player, he was one of my favourite players to watch. Sheer box-office value in terms of entertainment. Obviously past his peak now but he can be solid option in terms of scoring off the bench.

Also, honestly, would rather have Jamal at PG instead of Felder or Calderon.

Exactly, they basically replaced Matt Barnes and Ian Clark with Swaggy and Casspi. That's not an "enormous addition of people" or "handing out deals left and right."

We can still close the gap a bit with additions to our bench. Jeff Green is a good upgrade, Calderon is meh.

I doubt that.

Even if we end up trading Love, I doubt its for Melo alone. There has to be some draft picks or other pieces involved. Trading Love for Melo straight-up would be sackable offense!

Love isn't getting traded. Not for Melo. No way. Cavs aren't that stupid.
Plus, Suns are going in on the youth movement. They don't want a 28-year old Love.

Lebron wants Melo.

Only asset we have to deliver to a 3rd team to get Melo is Kevin Love.

I'm sure we will get some other asset than Melo..a tad more...but it's happening.
 
You've been saying this for weeks now. You were right about PG but I hope your wrong about this.
Melo is a high volume shooter. When you give him the ball he eats it.
I dont know how thats a better fit for this team than what we get from Love..
