2014 NBA Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Watching Westbrook is like Dr Jeckel/Mr Hyde. I feel like he is on speed, especially with his play late in the game.

westbrook's statline will make a lot of people overlook more than a few awful shots at the end

"one of the great owners in the nba, clay bennett" oh shut the fuck up

Westbrook is a great player. He, like all great players, will take some bad shots. Meanwhile, Kevin Durant is falling down on crucial possessions with the ball in his hands.

yep that's pretty much his story. westbrook giveth, and westbrook taketh away. at least it's exciting from an outside pov.

i wish ibaka was healthy the entire series. too hard to lose him on a team with no depth.

Hibbert for Jackson, Adams, and Perkins. Who says no?

Without Westbrook the Thunder aren't elite.

You gotta understand, Triumph led the "the thunder should have kept Harden over Westbrook" brigade. NOt sure if that ship still has anyone left on it, but he's never liked Russ.

ok? that tends to happen when you take away a teams second best player (especially when the team is so top heavy).

possession. not plural.

if westbrook took a single bad shot, or had a single bad turnover at the end, or didn't hustle back on a single play....then you can make the comparison of mistakes.

I don't really think either guy deserves blame. I mean that last Westbrook shot was a shot with 7 seconds left, down 4, and no timeouts. He can drive for a 2 and score with like 5 seconds left and then what? You're down 2 with no timeouts and the Spurs have the ball. A 3 is the only chance to win the game.

They just have no good role players. Jackson was the only guy worth a damn off the bench and he had to be moved into the starting line-up. HOpefully Lamb and Jones and Adams mature into some decent players. But they didn't have a guy like Manu or Diaw on the bench.
