Yes, in games where we’re watching Darius Garland turn down the same shots that were being taken while he was hurt.

The shot availability didn’t change.
How many three point shots do you think Garland is passing on?

Follow up question: On how many of those possessions are the Cavs still scoring?

In the 76ers loss I counted 7.

I don’t see how the second question is relevant given your claim that averaging 40 attempts per game isn’t sustainable.

If an opposing defense looks at the Cavs roster and says, “we’re gonna sell out to defend the 3 point line,” you think that’s a bad thing? With two 7foot rim runners on the floor?

Furthermore, you’re citing games without Donovan Mitchell, who, you guessed it, is the shooter with the most volume on the entire team. He takes 8-10 a game by himself because he’s an elite player. If you remove him and then say, “SEE, IT DOESNT SCALE,” it just doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Yeah, the offense takes a hit when Donovan Mitchell is removed for Isaac Okoro. More at 11.

And we were without?…,,,
We're talking about quality wins we had within Garland and Mobley here. The Heat are not a good team without Butler. The Mavs, especially before their mid-season trades, were a middling team without Kyrie.

The same Heat team that beat the full strength Kings by 11 last night without Butler? I must say, it may not be convincing, but you have a narrative and you’re sticking with it.

Like that matters. Every night is a new night. Maybe, the next one the Kings win by 20. You do realize the Cavs with Garland/Mobley killed the Kings

Pay attention. I was responding to the comment that said the Heat aren’t a good team without Butler.

Don‘t forget about the ignore feature; it really makes this a far better place

Dean Wade has no points in the last three games. He's 0-for-2 in 28 minutes. Three straight games where he failed to get 10 minutes of playing time. It looks like JBB likes Niang better.

In those same three games Niang has 59 minutes, over double Wade's total. Georges is 9-for-14 from the field and 6-for-11 on 3's. He's looking to score whenever he gets the ball while Wade acts like the basket does not exist. Anytime the ball ends up in his hands he just throws it to the closest teammate like it's a hot potato. He never even looks to see if he has an open shot or if anyone is even guarding him. What happened to his confidence? He's turned into the most passive player I've ever seen.
