A big part of the post injury surge after the Raptor loss was Mitchell/Allen defensively were amazing. No surprise both have deceleration starting with the first 76ers loss. Couple Garland not replacing Merrill's shooting and the Cavs are less impressive. Because I tell yeah guys, the Cavs were playing with shot intensity of January tonight.

Dean Wade has no points in the last three games. He's 0-for-2 in 28 minutes. Three straight games where he failed to get 10 minutes of playing time. It looks like JBB likes Niang better.

In those same three games Niang has 59 minutes, over double Wade's total. Georges is 9-for-14 from the field and 6-for-11 on 3's. He's looking to score whenever he gets the ball while Wade acts like the basket does not exist. Anytime the ball ends up in his hands he just throws it to the closest teammate like it's a hot potato. He never even looks to see if he has an open shot or if anyone is even guarding him. What happened to his confidence? He's turned into the most passive player I've ever seen.
He’s been JBB’d. That is only partly a joke. It can’t be a coincidence that this is the way he played at the beginning of the year when Mobley & Garland were playing. They go out and it’s clear that the whole team was given the green light. Dean plays differently. Now they are back, his minutes are down, and the team is mostly back to playing the way we did early and so is Dean

Pay attention. I was responding to the comment that said the Heat aren’t a good team without Butler.
It's neither a comment nor an opinion. The current Heat team don't win a play-in game without Butler.

Now we're just making up phrases to describe shots going in.

If you want to link all the shots that he’s turned down maybe I could forward it to him.

In the 76ers loss I counted 7.

I don’t see how the second question is relevant given your claim that averaging 40 attempts per game isn’t sustainable.

If an opposing defense looks at the Cavs roster and says, “we’re gonna sell out to defend the 3 point line,” you think that’s a bad thing? With two 7foot rim runners on the floor?

Furthermore, you’re citing games without Donovan Mitchell, who, you guessed it, is the shooter with the most volume on the entire team. He takes 8-10 a game by himself because he’s an elite player. If you remove him and then say, “SEE, IT DOESNT SCALE,” it just doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Yeah, the offense takes a hit when Donovan Mitchell is removed for Isaac Okoro. More at 11.
He took six threes against the Sixers. He also had 9 assists. It's relevant because if he took the 13 threes you wanted (which is an insane number) some of those assists, perhaps 7, are going away. With no Mitchell out there to handle the ball, and LeVert playing like he was paying off a gambling debt, that would've been a great way to get run out of the gym.

Or, we could've hit half the free throws we missed and easily won.

Careful, my guy.

Kyrie won me back last night. Total class move by the franchise to put the picture up by the visiting locker room and run the tribute video. Kyrie responded with the heart gesture, the nice comments after the game and signing autographs.

I still clearly remember driving home from work in Connecticut and crossing the Delaware into Pennsylvania when the news came over the radio that Kyrie wanted out. Just a devastating moment and the beginning of the end of our run.

He had all of his best moments in Cleveland. It had to be a very emotional moment from him when he got that love from Cavalier fans last night.

I booed him in the second game of the 2017-18 in Philly and haven't had any use for him since then.

But the classy Cavaliers franchise once again did the right thing and I'm back to being a fan of the man.

We're really lucky as fans of this team to have a class organization that treats people well.

While still not a Kyrie fan, glad to see he was pure class last night. Even acknowledged Strus' game winner immediately after the fact. He knows something about game winners.

The National Media darling New York Knicks better be careful. Should have lost to the Pistons. Getting dangerously close to being a play-in team. Would love to beat them on Sunday and send them into the play-in spot.

The East playoff race is heating up. The Heat (no pun intended) are on fire right now
