Browns and the 2023 NFL Trade Deadline

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I really don’t agree here

DPJ has been doing cardio all year, but he’s shown more than Tillman or Bell by a lot and Goodwin is just a burner

DPJ has a great catch radius and can high point the ball. He makes spectacular catches more often than I would have expected from him and more often than Moore (5’2”) ever will

I’m fine with trading him because it’s obvious he was not going to be back, but idk how anyone can claim pure unknowns are better than him

I feel like Tillman is better than DPJ, and now we'll likely get to see more of him.

The DPJ trade, to me, says more about the desire to open up playing time for Tillman and Bell than anything else. Both are struggling to earn opportunities (Tillman has multiple DNP-CDs). Hopefully one of them emerges - though I'm not optimistic either will make as much or more of an impact than DPJ.

I like Tillman allot, and I guess the Browns do too.

Even as a Boiler I cant say this does much for Bell, he is a slot receiver, really not an outside guy.

So now berry throws away the rest of the season because he had a month to address backup qb and has done nothing. Great. Watson will be in and out of the lineup all year with this injury. Backup qb should have been top priority.
Maybe it's time to put the laptop down and take a walk?

I'm ecstatic we didn't trade for a QB, that must mean QB #4 is just about ready. LFG!!

IDC if Watson is out but please no more Walker....give me DTR with a full week of practice reps and a gameplan tailored to him

DTR better study his ass off and actually learn the playbook. I dont think it was just practice that led to his failure vs the Ravens considering some of Kevin's comments after.

Regardless of PJ Walker I saw DTR do some of the most absurdly awful shit in that Baltimore game I’ve seen from a QB at practically any level.

I’m fine with going back to him if KS prefers to. I’ll trust Kevin on that.

But it was more than just “he’s a rookie”
