Cleveland Browns 2017 Training Camp

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I just don't know why they were so stubborn with Pryor. Then again, I'm not privy to how TP behaved in the locker room and impacted the dynamics there. But, so far, swapping out Pryor for Britt seems like a bust. Hope that changes.

It's part of the front office changing an old and dysfunctional modus operandi. For a long time, Browns free agents used the Browns initial offer to gain leverage with other teams and then try to leave for more money. For two offseasons, Brown has said, "Here's an above market contract. Take it because it won't be on the table if you hit the market." Pryor and Schwartz both tested the perameters and got burned... but the Browns won't have to endure the public shame that came with the Cameron negotiation with Miami again.

Landry and Coleman? Fuuuuuuuck yeah!!!!!

Does anyone have access to Kizer's throw chart in college? I'd be curious if picking up landry is even worth it if Kizer didn't look at the middle of the field very often. Landry is also a FA so if we give up anything more than a day 3 pick I'd be pretty livid.

Kenny Britt looks like a bad signing.

Not exactly shocking though considering his career.

Our defense looks really good so I'm good with spending some assets to get a WR here.

Excited to catch some Notre Dame this fall and see if Equanimious St. Brown makes a jump as a receiver. He's 6'4 runs around a 4.5 and already has a rapport with Kizer. I'm going to guess he needs to learn a more developed route tree, but that's what Al Saunders is for.

Namesake alone makes him a 2nd rounder

Garrett and Ogbah look like a very formidable DE pairing. Can't wait to see what this looks like in the reg season when the D playbook is opened up.

Britt was a legit #1 in the Trainwreck that was the Rams offense last season, I won't be worried a out this preseason until he's not performing halfway through the season.

Yeah, the dude had a 1000 yard season with some of the worst QB play ever. Can't ignore that. Silly to write him off over a dropped preseason pass. He basically had an identical season to Pryor last year with even worse QB play and on thirty less targets.

We have 3(!) 2nd rounders. Trading one of those for a top flight WR seems like it would be ideal, but I don't really know who is on the market. However, we paid a late 3rd for Collins. That seems like a benchmark to go off of, especially players with 1 year on their contract. Landry isn't worth as much as Collins, IMO. Would definitely love to get him though.

Coleman, Landry, and Britt would be beyond electric as a pass catching trio. What more could you ask for as a rookie QB? I'm guessing he could be had for a 2nd rounder, no?

The Browns have the capital and cap space to make this kind of move. This means they could go into the draft next year focusing on DB, RB, and maybe another playmaker at LB or S.

Please go get Landry if he's really available. He's 24 and already a two time Pro Bowler. You're putting this offense in a great position no matter if Kizer proves to be the guy or not.

Hurns wouldn't be a bad consolation prize either.

He's got a lot of upside. Would love to snag him.
