Even more of a reason he shouldn’t have put Watson on it. He shouldn’t get a year of paid suspension credit for a year he was never playing in anyway. Nonsense.
If the NFL wanted to make this look like they were taking it seriously, they would have placed him on the Exempt List, no?
Instead you are saying that the NFL didn't want to put him on the Exempt List because they were sure he was guilty but wanted to make a more serious punishment later? I don't know about that. I mean maybe, but that's kind of strange.
Seems like not putting him on the Exempt List sort of gives the impression that they were not sure if he needs to get suspended yet.
