Free Agent 2012 Targets

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
IMO, Mahinmi and/or Asik would be pretty good. Gordon is always injured. Batum is a very nice option at SF, but i doubt POR let him go.

I would not mind taking a flyer on Daniel Orton. He has literally logged zero minutes in the league, but I would still be interested in seeing what he is capable of. Can he really be any worse than Hollins? I suppose the main concern is whether or not that left knee is healthy.

Came in this thread to mention Jordan Hill and Daniel Orton.. looks like both have been mentioned already.. but I'd definitely like to take a look at either of the 2.

We should have about 30 million to spend in free agency next offseason. I would love to see next year unfold like this.

Draft Drummond.

Line up of Kyrie/Eyenga/Gee/TT/Drummond

Sign Gordon and Harden

Line up of Kyrie/Gordon/Harden/TT/Drummond.

Yes our wings would be small, but they would a top wing combo in the NBA. Our starting line ups age would be like 21, and we would still have 4 million + the MLE to sign other players. Sign AP, and a couple of other ring chasers and I think we could be contenders. In three years we could have three or four all stars on our squad.

i think roy hibbert should be the target he is a young center who has good offense and would be good in pick and roll with irving and is a nice compliment to tt on offense and his defesive presence combined with tt defensive potential would make a good frontcourt.
hoopshype has the pacers targeting eric gordon this summer so hibbert can be had

james harden would be an awesome addition

osama bin harden would be welcome.... there is no way the Thunder would let him go though.

They will look to sign Gordon with their cap space, and will likely match any offers for Hibbert in the summer of 2013.

Gordon back to indy would be a great fit for them. With geoerge hill off the bench as well it would really give the fans someone to root for

Harden is not a free agent until the summer of 2013

I don't think the Thunder will have a choice. If Harden gets a max offer I don't think they can match. Between Durant, Westbrook, Perkins, Thabo, Collison and Lazar Haywood they will have 53.4 Million spent, on 6 players. If the lux tax is 72M, that leaves them about $19M to pay Harden, Ibaka, Maynor--and that will still leave only 9 players, they need 5 or 6 more. And this is the year the luxury tax penalty goes up significantly.

I would MUCH prefer Harden over Gordon.

This off-season I want Asik and Mahinmi--draft Barnes or MKG. Next off-season try and get Harden and with our pick a floor spacing big man--to me PF or C doesn't matter (to me the NBA is pretty much PG, 2 wings, 2 bigs).

2013-14
Irving-Gibson
Harden-Eyenga
Barnes-Gee (Gee can back up SG also), maybe Casspi
TT-Mahinmi-Samuels
AV-Asik

Very athletic, potentially elite D. And we would have plenty of scoring with Irving-Harden and Barnes. I think by this year TT will have a respectable jump shot from 15 ft or so. We also would have our 2013 #1 pick and the Heat pick to add to this team.

Just throwing a name out there. But Wally Szczerbiak is still a free agent. Infact, we still hold his rights so we could we could go over the cap to resign him.

Hey, we need a sf that can shoot.
